*sigh* Another year, another miss on HTS exclusives. I work nights and sleep during the day so I guess it's partially my fault. I stayed up until 8am refreshing the page and just got up and 3pm. I knew I should have gotten up at 2pm, if I had I probably would have gotten a Primitive Prime.
Selling out in 20 minutes is pretty common for SDCC exclusives. I still don't understand why they don't make the HTS exclusive pre-order "made to order" like Japanese stores do it (including Takara Tomy Mall's Legends Black Convoy and the Legends reissues). It isn't like these are solely SDCC exclusives, they're SDCC and HTS joint exclusives. This isn't just leftovers from SDCC, some of these sold out there, these are an allotment set aside for sale specifically for HTS (mixed with leftovers). Instead of setting any aside only sell the leftovers on HTS for people that want a chance at getting them now and open pre-orders for people that can wait. Why intentionally make us anxious like this refreshing the page all day?
Oh well, I've been complaining about this since the first day they started offering these and the only thing that's changed is the site doesn't crash anymore. I think in all these years I've only been successful two years in getting what I want. It's still the same complaints of things selling out in minutes and things being sold out of people's cart after completing checkout. Hasbro doesn't care about individual experiences when everything sells in the end.
Movie Prime is still available, but after not getting Primitive Prime and finding out the free shipping on $49 and over doesn't apply to exclusives (seriously, why do you have to be that way, Hasbro?) I wasn't willing to pay $60 for it.
