Not that tough, just more expensive than retail which is expected of all toys

Ah, ah but you see, I want an IDW/G1 Blurr, kind of like what they did with Springer.

Btw I took the survey! I think it was worth it! We'll see what comes of it! ;)

While i love IDW transformers, the animated Blurr was very good and highly recommended :BOT:

Yeah but I'm aiming more for the CHUG/Combiner Wars line, so even if I had Animated Blurr, I would still want a decent voyager sized CHUG one to go along well with my Generations figures. :-D

I dunno exactly, but I think he might be almost as tall as springer, but, whatev's man
I am not a G1 fan, please treat my opinions as such.

I like Animated, but that style doesn't go along with CHUG figures. If I can only get 2 or 3 figures from Animated, then I might as well not get any at all, cuz I want enough of one style to pose together. That's just my personal opinion.

Trust me kid, for as long as I, and many others have been collecting, that probably isn't going to happen. Every new iteration of the franchise has brought new design elements and gimmicks (armada - energon - cybertron, etc.), as well as different designers; Even within the 'classics archetype' there have been many numerous design changes, the most noticeable one being from more G1 towards more idw stylized.

I'm not saying it won't or can't, just that you probably shouldn't get your hopes up too high. Plus, ya gotta respect animated shockwave 8-)

Your right, I forgot you had told me that. While I didnt have the battery acid problem I did have some rust on screws, but I thought it was normal for old toys and kept them. At that price, I was still happy to own toys I never thought I could own. And in amazing boxes too!

I'm not going to lie, I'm a Transformers superfan. I watch the cartoons, I play the video games, I collect the movies, I collect the toys, I make a fan-fiction comic about Transformers, I research Transformers toys online (prices, sales, discounts, etc.), I like to see the toys that are available on store shelves, and I'm currently developing a fan-made Transformers game. How more Transformers insane can I get? :KREMZEEK:

Dont know if you are aware (do not look it up online, it is absolutely frightening) but some people have gone to the point of getting plastic surgery to look like their idols, either it being Justin Beader or the Red Skull from Marvel. I am getting sick thinking of someone doing the same with Shia Lebeouf or Optimus Prime  All kidding aside, I think you are just the right kind of insane :) I am such a superfan myself I became a staff member here.

I must admit, thats another character that didnt get much justice in CHUG. All we got was a retool of Drift and the earth car really didnt suit him. Neither did the heavy kibble in robot mode, it didnt inspire speed one bit.

Yeah, it's definitely not, got a hotspot with the same problem, sent it back, got 2 in return Image

But, I got a stampy/sling from the same era, and the metal bits are as stainless as the new ones. I honestly don't know how/why this happens Image

I got a question about this guy. I like him too, but my favourite transformation is from one identity to the next. I rarely go from alt mode (either of them) to robot mode (either of them). I am assuming his alt mode as a decepticon is a cybertronian tank, but is it an Earth crane for his autobot self?

lol, yeah hasbro keeps such $hit hours ~9-3 and no weekend hours; So I went through hts and it seemed severe enough they had the manager of qc call me; since they both filled out complaint forms, they both sent me one; I was as blown away as you are when I found a second one waiting for me on my doorstep

While I like the tank mode, the fall of Cybertron modes were the best alien vehicle designs in my opinion. the current comics still use several of the designs (like ironhide). The lost light has some good alt modes too. Love Rodimus's and I really want to see comic Megs now :BOT:

It definitely isn't earthen, the treads are supposed to go downward at an angle to further differentiate it from the tank. I personally love most cybertronian modes, especially animated shockwaves, they got a bad rap in armada-energon-cybertron, but wfc/foc, I think, really showed us how well designed cybertronian modes could be.

That being said, I loved cybertron sideways; I can't actually think of many off the top of my head, but I feel it's refreshing nowadays, what with the rampant 'must be as realistic as possible' with generations (jazz...) and the movie figures and such.

Me too!

Survey completed as honestly as possible. I expressed my disappointment with the quality of recent figures. I also asked why Hasbro are so inconsistent with their releases of the MP line. If they committed to them we could avoid the generally more expensive Takara imports.

I dunno exactly, but I think he might be almost as tall as springer, but, whatev's man

im not sure if this figure is a good representation or fits in with the "CHUG" line but Cybertron Blurr says hi

Maybe it's 'cuz we F$%KING want them :-x

Seriously though, I have always wanted the beast figures from that line, that they have never been released in an affordable fashion that I could aquire is one of my greatest regrets from this franchise (alongside movie bazaitrons' thumbs, and cw menasors torso)

Me too. And lucky me (and now lucky you) they were rereleased by Takara for Korean audiences and there are a bunch that never sold (maybe a warehouse find) and thus now sell for very cheap, cheaper than retail all those years ago (with inflation). Enjoy:

Yeah, got some of those from bbts, returned 'em due to their being covered in rust and dried battery acid >:oP

Really? I got most of mine from there and the only problem I had was a little bit of rust on Big Convoy's screws that came right off. That and some of BBs stickers are peeling ever so slightly but the thing's almost 20 years old. I was kind of expecting that.
Shhhhhhh... I was never here. You never got anything from me.

Yes - Posterity and to aid people's memories about what they were asked or to jog their memories about what they'd said.... also for the idle interest or amusement of those who might not want to do the survey themselves, To ascertain some information I wasn't conversant with like what those other stores were, also to help those who have not done it yet have a think about what they might like to say... Not to mention to tip people that if they answer no to the page with Batman on it or say no to the 3rd party questions the survey ends early. Anyway I'm done now I've reached the end after these ones....

Last part....

its too bad. 1,097 people is peanuts for hasbro, and i am sure we all answered varied questions for what we would want to see.

I love the collector cards, it reminds me of BW BMach and armada, they were a great aspect, and it is a deep regret that the cw comes with comics;
I am not a G1 fan, please treat my opinions as such.
