With 5 1/2 days left, we shall see what happens. Again, I'm not sure if any other Haslab that successfully funded hasn't achieved all it's stretch goals, but we shall see. I dont believe this myself, but I'm already seeing the conspiracy theorists online saying that Hasbro might lowball the actual orders so they don't have to make the stand or shield/micromasters.
No it was a bump mid-morning. It was at 13,200 (or just a bit over) when I checked this morning.

I think these HasLab crowdfunds are my only hope for ever getting Majin Zarak. They are running out of Titan Class bots. Everyone keeps saying "too obscure," but HasTak have done much more obscure bots. Too much of a financial gamble is more like it. But that's why HasLab could work for it. Maybe, just maybe?

I could have sworn it was over 13,300 before I fell asleep night. But for the sake of argument, lets split the difference, say it was 13,250. After the bump it was 14,500 (thus a difference of 1,250) *a little over 1000* I would say is an accurate assessment yes?

That all depends on where you live. I am on the west coast, so when I got up this morning at 6AM my time, it had already occurred. thus the "middle of the night" (even if it was 5:30am my time) would not be inaccurate.

A Titan Majin Zarak would be total wish fulfilment for me. I don't know how many times I've posted t in the "Toys you would like to see but Hasbro/TT will never make" thread.
But yeah, a toy like that would probably cost somewhere in the $400 range I'm guessing, and probably require at least 15,000 backers, which is the issue, I don't think that many people in the world would back it, though I'd back it day one for sure.

Since it's alt mode was an aircraft carrier they could do *another* retool of Metroplex. Half the work is done. Maybe that could help drop the price down to $250-$300. It might just be crazy enough to work and since it's a Titan I think it could totally work because:

I doubt they'll do that again, besides we're already getting another Titan Class Metroplex next year
My advice is to back it. If you like it when it finally comes, great! If you don't, you can unload it on eBay and make back what you spent (and more if you're willing to jack the price up). Nobody loses here.Epsilon Delta wrote:I kind of want to back this just so it hits it's goals. No real attachment to the character, but it seems cool enough. Perfect, a new Metroplex to double as a new Majin Zarak. I'm just going to start the rumor and hopefully it gets so much traction HasTak will have no choice but to produce... At a reasonable price... And with plenty of produc- oh this is my fantasy. I don't need you reality intruding on my delusions.

They also did that with the Golden Disk reveals where they'd tell parents to go preorder a toy at a particular adress. And I just wonder, what's with this damn charade? Are they really thinking a parent sees these online only toys of niche characters and s hoping they order it? Why not just talk like you are talking to fans, who are undeniably the main target audience for this product?!

Its probably a legality requirement, a lot of kids would see this online through sites like ours...
