Deathsaurus is actually supposed to be shorter than Victory Saber, more equal to Star Saber's height. This makes his HasLab toy correctly scaled, CHUG-wise, like MP Star Saber.SpaceEagle wrote:I s'pose my similar "Fine by me" attitude could apply to Deathsaurus who is also scaled towards Victory Saber would mean we'd get a Deathy toy that'd rival Scorponok in height if it were bigger(!) which I'm definitely not interested in.

SpaceEagle wrote:Personally I'm glad they focused on Victory Saber's height, otherwise Star Saber himself would be rather too big for my tastes and make his fellow 'Bots seem puny. Maybe I'm also a sucker for how adorably small the Brain of Courage figure is, but I do like how Saber becomes the big and powerful Supreme Commander with the size Star Saber has. Even Victory Leo being smaller to compensate for Victory Saber's scale doesn't really feel that out of place.
Then again, I'm not a big fan of toys being big for the sake of being big. That's also probably why.

Had HasLab Star Saber been correctly scaled to be as tall as the MP, his Victory Saber form would have probably been approximately as tall as, say, Armada Unicron, which is adequately taller than a CW combiner, but still way smaller than the smallest of the Titan class figures.

Not super happy with what's happening now since I'm just getting info that my messages are being forwarded. And they recomend I write to them if I want. I thought there was dedicated support for the product. I don't doubt the issue will be resolved, but I'd rather they figure it out on their end rather than invite me to play telephone.

Can you share a picture of that specific defect? Because I can't picture it.
SpaceEagle wrote:Saying it wasn't inspected and warning the buyer is probably the best bet. At least for a truly MISB type deal!

I'll go that route. It will even be DOUBLE SEALED, meaning the main shipping box not even open.
This will save me trouble.
I do wonder. Should I consider myself "lucky" that the VS I opened was perfect without defects? Because despite all the reports, there's over 25K units out there so even if 100 reported defects on the net, there's still over 25K units that are either without defects (assumingly). So the overall % of defective units should be basically insignificant.
-Kanrabat- wrote:I'm not sure but it's that, right?
If yes, it's at least fixable but still unforgivable for such an high-end collectible.
I wonder what I should do with my second set? Open it and transform everything to make sure there is no defects but in doing so removing its "sealed" status, or leaving it sealed and warn in a future listing that the thing was not inspected and may come with defects?

SpaceEagle wrote:Not to flex my brain matter, but I just assumed since this had the same designer that also made the MP version of Sabey, he'd probably have storage for the sword in the same spot! Then I checked the figure itself and voila, I was right.

Wait, there's a way to store the sword in a slot on the back, like on the show?
I got mine today and I did the cursory check for visible QC issues and so far so good. I could even see that both holes for the cockpit to peg in are there. Looking forward to busting it out later.

Are you saying that MP Victory Leo will finally be a thing? I never heard it announced from anywhere.
I think he means this set has a leg up on ole MP 24 Because it is Victory Star Saber.
I do wonder why Takara never followed through with Victory Leo, did MP24 not sell well?
Even though it was the best selling toy the first week it was released, it quickly dropped off and is the worst selling MP in history.
