HasLab Transformers War for Cybertron Trilogy UNICRON!!!

It's that simple."
As for what is "definitive", it's a moot point. Official or not, NOTHING is "definitive". Ever. The MP line is proof enough.

He has so little detail and he is really boring looking. Unicron needs greeble, and that one does not have it.
He's also small, which Unicron should not be. God class. not CW (non-titan) combiner class.
He'll be cheaper, but smaller and insignificant.

He is G1, after all. You're also describing the MP Anime+ line.

In comparison to WHO? I'd like someone to put some real thought into this answer. Because all this talk of size, of scaling Unicron to anyone just sounds weird and nonsensical.
I'm not just comparing Zeta to HasLab, either. What size should the only active Planet Bot (in most fiction, barring UT) be? He is incomparable to the rest of the toyline, by design.
He doesn't simply stand above the rest, he stands apart from them. <- This should be the ethos of Unicron design.

Are people seriously thinking along these lines? Or the sensible and sane option: a figure you can comfortably hold in your hands?

By that logic, you ought to be questioning why they even made Armada Unicron bigger than the rest of the Armada line instead of just making him the same size as Super-Base Optimus and Tidal Wave.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:D-Maximal_Primal wrote:He's also small, which Unicron should not be.

Huge toys are fun they don’t have to be hand holdable necessarily.

It's actually embarrassing for Hasbro they have been so outclassed in this product. Watching the zeta offering ACTUALLY TRANSFORM to make the chest and arms etc is magical compared to the Haslab "lift up the 3 shell sections over his head and full body and stack them on his back.

If you like Zeta Unicron, buy it!
Having options is ALWAYS good. Stop bickering at each other for the crime of having different opinions on toys.

No, because I said he should stand apart from the rest.

Oddly enough, back in the "Hasbro will never make" thread, I think I even said then some people would only be happy with a Unicron that is the size equivalent of cosplay
ZeroWolf wrote:Plus no one is talking about scale, all D-Max said was that unicron should be big, bigger then the rest, not for scale purposes but because its Unicron, the Chaos Bringer.
Other than those decrying the Zeta one as being "too small"
But this was the whole point of the question I asked, what is this optimal size people are envisioning him to be?
At the end of the day, Transformers (from base lines, to 3P, to MP) are still supposed to be practical transforming figures. Too big it's a statue on the floor, bigger than that is cosplay.

Instead of trying to shut down conversation with a dismissive comment on its perceived value, I think someone could benefit from a little fun in a Zorb...

Well actually Haslab cant be bothered to sell to UK fans so saying "just buy it if you like it" isnt actually applicable.

This is pretty much my take on it. I think Zeta is the better toy (though I'll only buy him if something happens to my beloved Armada 'cron) but I really hope they both get made so some madman can buy both and compare them.

HasLab can't be bothered selling outside of the US and Canada. You think you're the only country that has it rough?
Australia got incredibly lucky with our deal, but we know the rest of the world has been screwed over. HasLab have shot themselves in the feet by not trying to work with local retailers to get Unicron out to as many as possible.

No pop culture chains that I know of. There is a distributor that is offering an order but the orders they say they have are 3x their balance sheet - I'm just not putting down £600 eith someone who when they see all that cash in their account would have the temptation to shut up shop and leave.. equally if anything happens to them over the next 18 months or 2 years what happens to your preorder?
All this just because Haslab cant be bothered
