@Duragrip, that was quite an impressive post you made, but what about the other kids? You saying that you wanted the minority protecting, that they should be treat differently. A lot of kids can handle that because they would look at things differently, they just see the kidnap as backstory and want her to get revenge.

Like a certain couple in the Sailor Moon dub, who were not related at all in the original?
Yeah, how dare you change stuff for the US Sailor Moon dub, RhA? Screw you, you racist prick.
Then I will excuse myself and I will go to the little racists room.

Two of the main characters were a lesbian couple but were changed to sisters or something in the US dub.

Good, now think about WHAT you DID.
Monster.
Guess He-Man and She-Ra should keep "it" in the family after all. XD

Not really, most of that stuff is just He-Man getting it on with the rest of the Masters of the Universe or Skeletor, or all at once.

Even less surprising is the revelation that Dead Metal looks at He-Man slash images.

But there not the greatest animated movies, transformers the movie standout part was the result of product clearance...it's got nothing on lion king...or watership down.

The 200x series cost Mattel a whole bunch of money. It set the franchise back. Now Mattel won't touch He-man in a major way for maybe years, decades. They did right to make their MOTUC based on the Filmation series.
Filmation He-man and She-ra is canon. Everything that has come after have been utter failures, abortions.

That's quite harsh thing to say...and they are all canon, they take place in alternative universes, same with the DC comics. Plus I recall that he-man series did really well, I mean if it didn't why did it get extra seasons?
He man may get revived with the new movie that's coming out, but hopefully it will take lessons from transformers and turtles on how to handle the franchise (despite opinions about quality of TF movies, it can't be argued that they haven't been successful). Also guardians of the galaxy might prompt them to not be afraid of a franchises outlandish elements.

Was the DC v he-man mini-series any good? I remember seing it and I feared a mistake of the avengers v transformers kind.
I think I'll try looking at the official views from Mattel rather then the community. Transformers and G1 have taught me that some lessons when it comes to asking for things. People have bias

They've tried to distance themselves from 200x ever since. I think it was considered a failure because the 200x toys were not selling.
From my understanding the figures didn't sell well because they put out too many He-Man and Skeletor variants in too large numbers. It's like the hive of Bumblebees that's on store shelves today in some places.
