Looks great.

Does anyone know what the square on the side of the turret is for? I'm guessing it so it can be stored in robot mode after you take it off the hilt. But I'm not sure...

I do hope the deluxe Blood/Gyro set will be released though. I'd love to have a deluxe sized G1/IDW Budgeon. Until then, pre-ordered!

I pre-ordered the 2 piece set with Whirl head. I haven't received the parts yet, so I don't think it's been released. But I also no longer see it as a pre-order in any of the places I normally order from. Strange. I don't remember reading a cancellation notification. Well, there's $13 I blew on the two-pack. Was really only interested for the alternate heads...

Where did you preorder them?

I'm pretty sure it was either BBTS or TFSource. Those are the two I frequent the most, with BBTS being far more often than TFSource. It might've been somewhere else, though I don't think so. I might have to go back through my order confirmations and check.

Yeah, very interested in the Whirl upgrade.

Pre-ordered the upgrade, too cool to pass up.

Also, i think the deluxe version (inner robot) will look very cool displayed with the upgraded voyager Bludgeon (Pretender shell)...

Oh, and QFT. That's my plan, or the deluxe makes a pretty good Cybertron Mode Dinobot (In my mind Wreakage was his Cybertronian name before, kind of like Deadlock to Drift).

Hey everyone worried about the deluxe Bludgeon/Whirl upgrade... I checked HeadRobots page and they specifically say this is still planned and there are a few pics (can't recall if we've seen these before or not):

Hold your horses, DX blood is still coming

Might be worth updating the main news post with this so people don't jump to the conclusion that the Deluxe Bludgeon/Whirl upgrade is cancelled.

Looks good. I am actually more interested in the deluxe upgrade than the voyager upgrade. The voyager has room for improvement, but can hold its own as Bludgon even without upgrades. However the deluxe version needs an upgrade to escape that "wreckage" look.

This is waaay cool! and very impressed with HR stuff and i got their HardHead upgrade a few months back and was ecstatic about it and really re-defines the figure all together.

I just pre-order this set and just cant wait for it to come out and i will be using Bludgeon as my classic stand-in from time to time and i truly believe this kit will make him stand out!

My next question is will they do a new head for banziatron? cause it still says repainted Bludgeon head no matter what color hasbro paints it.
