These are some really good MOCS! The modular system you use seems like it opens up a lot of possibilities for future creations. I think my favorites so far are the swordfish and the nautilus.

Hey thanks man

You are correct, the modular system I use is very helpful. The only drawback is that, since the shoulders are on different ports, arms can never be inter-changed. This turns out to be a blessing in disguise however, as it, in turn, allows for unique transformations like the Draco-Lung and Solar Condor. So a bit of a mixed bag, but it does keep me from making a bunch of generic, unisex limbs ;)^

Gale-Force looks great/functions well - I like how the design accommodates Draco Force and Midnight Predator in different ways, focusing on wingspan for Draco and bulking out Midnight's physique in addition to filling out the silhouette of the wings.

Agreed that the idea of switching components for different capabilities is one of the funnest ideas in combining mecha (and a shame TFs don't use it more!) - love that about Piranacon, the idea of him switching out limbs to have the ideal firearm for the job.

I have, I love Grevious, the best part of the prequels. Would love to get him and Kylo Ren, but they seem a tad inflated for what you get, so I'm wary of shelling out full price for them.

Problem is, I get tru giftcards fairly regularly, but they jack up the price, even $15 off doesn't do much for it, and the parts don't interact very well with normal parts, so he remains a large action figure. If you think it looks cool, I say get it asap, I can vouch for the system used, he would be a ton of fun.

Glad you like it, and I'm happy that you gave me the nudge to go that route, I was trying to go for a sinnertwin style dragon that split in half to form arms, but that wasn't happening #-o

I prefer to use bricks mostly, I would love to just have him as a display piece/action figure... myabe I should get him and turn him into a transformer :-?

I think he'd be worth it. The fact that he is a droid anyway should put any minds at ease over rebuilding him, modifying him and making him a whole new Grievous. :MAXIMAL:

Not really, just something I've always tried to do, but have only now had success with, guess the Draco Force would be the 'good guys' and the Predator Force would be the 'bad guys' and they can use the Armament force (the Predator Force would get 'evil' retools of the Armament Force into different animals)... that's 'bout it; figured they could be like Super Sentai in style and story, hope that's enough for you, really, it's always just been a way for me to recharge my creative batteries.

Thanks, even if it looks a little ungainly, I think it adds a certain flair to the combined modes. As to placement of the head, yeah, it's unfortunate, but Lego's just don't compress like I sometimes wish they could. I like to think they aren't bothered by that sort of thing, plus, it adds more to the idea of it being an 'armor'.
