Yay! My HLJ order shipped a couple days ago. Can’t wait as Sunstreaker is possibly one of the very best figures I’ve seen a long, long time. I’m glad the Henkei one doesn’t suffer from the anemia the Universe version does.
Could you give us some out of package pics? I’ve got to see more.

Sunstreaker is REALLY nice. Far deeper, more even yellow than the Universe version. I'm seriously considering picking one up, and using my Uni Streaker for repainting.

I think Sunstreaker looks awesome, unlike some Henkei releases the chrome is perfectly placed and the different shade of yellow really makes it stand out from the Universe version.
With the addition of some of the reprolabels this will be one of the best upgrades of a G1 toy yet. I only wish an Encore rerelease of the original would happen so I could display the two side by side.

Why don’t you do that and make your own Menasor? IMO it’d be a lot more fun and cheaper than buying one.
There’s plenty you could do with him. And have lots of fun while you’re at it.

I'm planning to buy a duplicate Sideswipe as well, then make Tigertrack and Deep Cover. Switch the heads round, then paint the red one black and put some tiger stripes on the yellow one.

The henkei Sunstreaker is real nice; I have both versions (for once) and this version seems to transform a little more smoothly, the colours are nicer, the chrome is good.
