i'm startin to look twice at cyclonus as others have said, use the hasbro one as "armada" then they'd be different. plus i can switch nightstick coz i prefer the hasbro version. I may get 2 "armada's" coz the figure looks so kool.

anyone know what hes actaully called?
I remember he gets blown up by one of the dino's like 2mins later on the second attack on autobot city. I believe with one of the sweeps too but i could be wrong

Those look lovely 10 times better than the universe versions. I'm not saying the universe versions are bad though, it's that these look better. I'll get both these and the universe ones aswell just because I'm crazy like that

Wow....just wow! *wipes tears of joy from my eyes*

Henkei Cyclonus is effin' PERFECT! I just might save more nickels and dimes and get that one instead of Classics 2.0, for the G1 color-accuracy alone! Hell, I might just get them both! *wallet chokes, coughs and dies*

Hound looks great too, but I will stick with Classics 2.0 on that one!

Cheetor...well, still a heap of steaming fail.

Cyclonus is made of win. Preordered.

I'll still get the Hasbro version as well. Got one coming from HTS for under $8 shipped. But the Henkei one looks too good to pass on. This will be my first Henkei purchase!

Hound looks good too, but I'm not bothered enough by the Hasbro one to pay the extra money for the Henkei version in this instance.

*times internal clock for 2 years*

When all that vac metal starts peeling off, ya'll let me know how you like these dudes, kay? Because I've seen what happens to vac metal as it ages...and it ain't pretty.

Aside from that, I do agree with the opinion that Cyclonus is just way too pastel for my Decepticon Armada, even excepting the fact that my Galvatron has day glow orange.

Takara Really needs to put down the vac metal gun, and go look at old Beast Wars toys....Theres a very good reason why Hasbro doesn't use that technique any longer. I'll be passing on them for the exact reason I passed on Henkei Galvatron, I don't have time to vacuum all those little metal chips out of my carpet

Usually when I like a Henkei fig. I go ahead and get 2 and skip Hasbro's...
But part of me wants to get one Henkei and one Hasbro version of both Cyclonus and Hound.

Intersting............

This is probably what I'll do since I'm leaning towards getting to sets of Thrust and Dirge.

Really? Because the vacuum metalized parts on every Transmetal I own is still beautifully intact. They're 10yrs old and show no signs of degradation.

That article is opinion-based BS.
I told the fire to go **** itself, and it did.

Well, the vac metal on all MY transmetals, including that 150 dollar MIB Shokaract have peeled, or cracked...So I'd say results may vary.

My ex-husband-monster had the same issues with all the TM Rattraps he had. The "metal" started to bubble and crack off. He had something like 4 or 5 do this. His TM2 Megatron started doing the same thing when we divorced....and it took a tumble into the fireplace....

....whoops! Such as the case with nasty divorces. The plastic-crack suffers!

He probably shouldn't have had faulty products displayed so close to the fireplace. :P

Seeing how my divorce went as well, methinks tarnished Rattraps were not the only casualties.

I think it has to do with the place you store them. My Transmetal Rampage was perfectly OK then I had to sore him in my attic which is real cold in winter and damn flaming hot in summer the moment I touched him I had cold plated hand and a Rampage with a hand syulate.

Ehh, every vac metalized transformer I've bought has demonstrated this flaw, from Transmetal Cheetor, all the way Corona Sparkplug. That is I think the reason Hasbro doesn't use the process anymore. Despite what many would contend, Hasbro actually Does have a vested interest in selling you a high quality product. They make toys durable so that they last, without having to be recalled.

The only way I've found to treat this is to just not deal with the toys, which is why my Shoky is kept far back on the shelf, and not taken down. If I don't mess with him, I won't rub the chrome off. That sucks as far as wanting to actually play with your toys...but its a tradeoff I make. I haven't seen any problems with my Henkei Seekers yet, but I'm keeping their handling to a minimum just incase. Considering a clear coat of nail polish to protect the chromed bits...
