I think universe Hound looks great, but i'll definitely be acquiring the henkei version yet again. I'm really digging the 'chest' detail, the stars and the darker green colour. He's always been one of my top 5 characters, and it's great to see him lookin' so good.

Fail, maybe and fail, in that order.

Hounds looks good in that deeper colour, but the domestic release is cheaper. Then again, I could just buy two.

Cyclonus looks very camp, not like the competent and brilliant Second-in-Command, and his chrome Nightstick is just awful. Then again, with the Headmaster's take on him, Japan don't seem to get him right.

Cheetor looks a bit... plain to me. Then again, I'm not picking up the other version ether.

Awesome figures. Takara makes it again. In my opinion every classic and universe figure are better made by Takara.
Even Cheetor that i rejected is almost got my attention for the taken.

Dear Primus those are wonderful.

I headed right over to BBTS to preorder them, unfortunately Cyclonus isn't available yet though. As usual I could do without the chrome on Cyclonus, but it actually looks good and makes sense on Hound. Everything else about Cyclonus is perfect too, leaps and bounds above the Hasbro one. These probably are 'shopped though...

Chrome is what’s usually on the Henkei figures. Metallic paint is what’s used for like BB movie Megatron, ect.

Basically, one you can almost see your reflection in, and the other just looks like metal.

Actually a misconception, you can't really see any reflection on chrome as easily.(you still can, but not as well as on TFs) Henkeis use Vaccuum Metalizing.

Wow, the pale lavender that they made Cyclonus in is full of fail. It almost looks transluscent. The vac-metallized wings and gun only add to the garish nature of this all around suckfest Takara put out.

Hound is a definite possibility. The darker green looks really great.

The Cheetor figure still fails because they didn't make a new mold somehow. Chrome neither hurts nor helps this one. If I get one, it will be the cheaper Hasbro version.

ooh very nice. Loving Cyclonus and the chrome work actually looks good for once. I really like nightstick.

Cheetor looks really nice the head works very nicely in that golden yellow.
If I can afford them I'll probably order them

I prefer the paint scheme for Henkei Cyclonus. Hasbro had too much white/grey going on. But with that said, I wish the Henkei version was used a bit darker purple. I think the chrome barrels of Nightstick work well.

Hound looks great in those colors.

OH HASBRO, WHEN WILL YOU LEARN!

We need paint jobs like these! Hound and Cyclonus look amazing. I don't know what everyon doesn't like about Cyclonus. That's what he looked like in G1. A nice light purple, not some periwinkle.

I'm not sure which Cyclonus I will end up buying, I might go for the Hasbro because it's cheaper and available at retail but I do dig the paint apps on the Henkei Cyclonus.

I still don't understand why Hasbro has to make Cyclonus such a dark color for as they said at Botcon "realism" when he's a space jet yet they give us a bright green Hound.

But heck, if there was no henkei I'd easily buy both of those figs from Hasbro, anyway.

i usually pass on the henkei just because i buy what i can get my hands on esiest.....but i really want the cyclonus and hound. the cheetor lookes closer to his real colors, but that mold is one of the ugliest ive ever seen.

i have to say something this time chrome on minicon dont loko right hound looks great but ravage is to black for me. cheetor i like but ill probably get hasbro version of him cyclonuse looks good but ill wait & see if hasbro's finsihed cyclonus first before i decide to get henkie or hasbro version fo me its the wings & the face for cyclonus.

As a gun he can only hold him in his right hand. however he can hold him in both arms as a hand replacement. kind of like Shockwave style.

His hands fold back into his lower arm, and the thrusters for plane mode can accommodate nightstick there as a plug in weapon.

Cyclonus looks so plain. I'll probably pick up both versions. 1 Cyclonus and 1 Armada.

Hound looks great. I like the darker green and that the colors match. I wish he only had 1 star and that the other was his Autobot symbol though.

Cheetor look good. The feet looks mistransformed though.
