As I have stated before progress will be slow going as I am still busy with life. But, I will strive for weekly progress. I will be making this modular so once it is done, adding to it should be simple. I am also no professional programmer but also no novice either, so bear with me as I will be learning some of the tools on the fly.

I am adding this feedback thread for input and feedback from the community. I do have a specific mindset on how I would like to proceed; I make no promises that any input will be followed but promise to read all input given. While I am open to discussion and friendly debate, please keep this thread positive. If there is any flaming, trolling or hijacking happening that derails this discussion, I will ask the Mods to lock this thread and will proceed without input from the community.

I look forward to working with the community in a positive way to achieve the goal of v2.0. Please keep playing the current game also as it will take time for v2.0 to come to fruition.

I am working on getting the database/tables setup and integrating the information into the help page. If you keep an eye on it you will start seeing some of the game structure and information start being displayed although some of it won't make sense for the moment.

I've been checking it every so often. It is progressing nicely.

It's gonna look very basic for awhile. Also, things will change on the fly as needed so I wouldn't count on the help information to be set in stone for awhile. The nice thing is the help page will be Database driven so as things are added or taken away the Help page will instantly reflect those changes.

Right now I'm working on a back end interface for HMW Mods/Admins to make any additions, modifications or removals as needed to the Database. Also, I'm going to make this as modular as I can so expansions can be implemented and deployed easily and rapidly.

Going to try something new to me to keep the Admin Panel cleaner and easier to use, the NPC stuff will still work. Once I get new stuff working I'll remove the cluttered one.

You shouldn't be able to make bots with duplicate names anymore. For now it will just throw an error, just click back on your browser.

Mods when you get a chance could you check the new drop down list on the panel and let me know if there is any other functionality that would be useful on there? I don't know what problems have been run into in the past and would like to eliminate as many of those as possible early on. Right now they don't bring up any options, just want to see if there is any other tools you would like on there. Thanks

For the players interested in testing, I should reach that level sometime during the next couple of weeks. Right now I am relearning some old stuff and learning some newer stuff that has come about while I was gone.

Here are some of the things I will be working on for the player side for the game:

Missions will be a part of the bigger picture of control of Cybertron and Earth. Missions will be used by the factions to capture areas of planets leading to area specific bonuses, weapons and other special items. This will be exclusively where you gain experience, some energon and certain items.

Item strength will coincide with item levels no more over powered low level items. Special items from tournaments, special missions and other events can be more powerful than similar level items.

The arena will be a place where you can challenge anyone's bot with one of your bots to see how you do against them. Certain exclusive rewards and energon will be able to be earned here, but no experience will be gained in the arena. The rewards and energon should make it worthwhile to play in the arena.

There will be a store where you can buy armor, weapons, special robotmodes, special altmodes, and other unique and special items to beef up your bots and your team.

There will be a database driven help page that will give you information on all aspects of the game in a always up to date method.

The HUD will be where you will view all your Transformers' stats, individual info, inventory, team info, individual rankings, and team rankings as well as where you equip your inventory items to your individual bots and team.

Currently looks complete. Until I can see more of the game structure its hard to tell, but its shaping up nicely.

LOL not bad. For some reason, I envisions my theme song (if I ever have one) to be more pirate-y.

Just would like to update everyone while I have a chance. Development of HMW2 will be delayed for sometime while I am dealing with real life emergencies. As some of you can see I reside in Kamiah, ID and am currently surrounded on 3 sides by a wildfire. Lot's of friends have already lost homes, lives and property and I personally have had to evacuate twice. For those of you who would like to monitor the situation here is a link : InciWeb the fire for my area is listed under both Clearwater complex and Lawyer Complex. Please keep us in your prayers now and while we rebuild.

Sounds awful, MP. Looked up some pictures of Kamiah, ID, and it looks like it should be an absolutely beautiful area... If there weren't any wildfires. I've read the reports and the destruction looks terrible. Best of luck to you, to all your friends and family in the area, and to everyone affected by this disaster.

I heard about that fire. Scary stuff. Oddly we had a close fire here, but it was contained with only 8 homes that went up.

I hope you and yours are safe and sound.
