Menchoy does it again with another G1 themed super-sized action figure!

Awesome, as always.

It's just too bad his figures can't transform.

Yeah, Masterpiece Action Masters.

Really like the sculpting on this one! Most of it looks Gundam though. :? You need to post some WIP pictures so we can see just how you did it.

I really don't care that his figures don't transform... Everything he does looks awesome.

ActionMasterpieces, you mean..?

It is a pity the pieces don't transform, but when they look this good, frankly it's easy to look past.
There are a couple of things I think I'd change.

For one thing, there's a few things, not least the shape of the legs, that make me think it looks far more Rodimus than Hot Rod. With that in mind, I think the face could do with a little ageing.
The other niggle I have is the spoiler. With all the detail on the rest of the fig, the spoiler just looks like a shaped piece of styrene. I think a few scored panel lines or something could go a long way.

Still, bloody fantastic anyway. 8)

Very nice looking, there was another Hot Rod made by a guy on Bot Collector a while back I think, here is the link

http://www.botcollector.com/QsCorner5.htm

I have no clue who he is always wondered if he was on here as well, as well as the Q guy.

It is neat how your version looks younger and fits the Hotrod name better as his looks more armored up and more fitting to the Rodimus Prime.

The gun is nice too it is just the standard gun painted right? I like how you addded the chrome on it and Transformered it up a bit we all know how G1 loved its chrome guns, where as the normal gundam guns are usually flat colors or all black. nice

Thanks for the comment guys. Yeah it's a real shame that the figure doesn't transform, but here is a pic of a transforming alternator hotrod I made such a long time ago. Sorry if it's just the alternator mode, I'm just anal about touching my figure when it's already up on display, but it does transform though with the signature Hotrod head.
