do anyone have a good strategy to beat tidal wave i have been stuck on him for awhile.

Well one strategy that worked for me was to go on the hill behind you.

This gets you pretty close to his face so you can easily hit it.

Though he'll attack you more so watch out.

I would fire off a shot at the east end of the island, turn into a truck and drive to the west end, hide behind the hill, fire off a shot, drive to east end, fire off a shot . . . repeat until dead.

At least, it worked for me.

Yeah, I went with the strategy that Operation Ravage stated. It took me over 20 tries to beat Tidal Wave though. I think might be the toughest in the game. For me he's tougher than Megatron, Starscream, and Cyclonus.

I tended to stay right under his feet. I had the longshot minicon equipped so whenever I could get away from his missiles I'd have a perfect sniper shot at his face. Worked wonders. Beat him in about 4 tries.

Hot Shot with Sniper Rifle

or Prime with Sniper Rifle and that minicon that regens your energy. (I prefer HotShot)

Like other have said, race to one end, pop, race to the other, pop.

That game was actually pretty amazing..

Same as others, fire and maneuver with Hotshot and the sniper-rifle.

Range Finder (the one that increases your shot range)
Heavy missles
Heavy cannon ( the one you can charge and fire)
extra armour or something that will air you. a speed boost is always nice.

Also try not too shoot anywhere but his face. you can blow up the turettes on his chest but then he just uses more laser eyes. Wait untill you get to fight starscream for a second time. he's easier but waay fun.

I used Red Alert because he has enough speed to outrun Tidal Wave's attacks and he has the best defense of the trio. I equipped him with the sniper rifle Mini-Con and shot the head as many times as I could before TW began unloading missles, then I haul @$$ to the opposite hill and repeat the process.

I use the wings, range enhancer/cluster missiles, the charge gun (you get on level 1 with the glider, its on a plataeu surrounded by 6ish spider tanks) and energy shield.

Stand ontop of the hill you start on, shoot, use shield to deflect the lasers while you continue firing, use glider to escape hill when it starts raining cruise missiles. This way gives you maximum shooting time. Glide to the beach, drive along it, wait for TW to stomp over, drive back up to the start and repeat.

When his turrets explode, Energon flies out. Destroy all laser and missile turrets and he starts doing a questionable manouvere as flying drones come at you.

For an added fun move, go to the top of the outcrops on the other side of the map (you can walk/drive to them without getting too deep) and let TW wonder over to you. But for some reason, this doesn't work for the two outcroppings connected by the beach.
