You don't. They're no longer in the game and were never quite fully removed.

To elaborate on my colleagues detailed answer, they were an experiment that didnt quite go according to plan from a year or so back by our previous programmer and the link was never quite removed.
We currently do not know if they will return to the game in any form, but these are interesting times, and you never know what a week will bring here.

If memory serves didn't the mini-cons crash the game at one point? that was a while ago but i remember one day i had 14 Str w/ minicon killing Cons left and right and then bam game crashed!

Nah, that crash was unrelated, but the minicons did have the potential to divide HMW by 0 should a stat ever get past 20 which was possible when combined with the robot mode upgrades and the bug that allowed stats to go above 10 we had at the time.
Unfortunately these things do happen and it was a side effect that was impossible to predict, so they and the robots modes were removed shortly after.

Though they had problems it was fun testing them out! I do hope they come back in some form. (That Actually Works Fairly)

Reciprocating Laser Cannon
Good old minicons... With maxed out robot mode and minicon it was possible to achieve 19 strength, which simply with a punch did around 200 damage... 
It was also funny that while Murderplex ate all the autobot supply, we still had around 1000 from some of them in supply when they were taken out of game.
And the quintesson missions in which they were winnable... I miss the old days.

plus ram was kicking out crazy amounts of XP. everyone running around with Nuclear Knuckles made it fun too.

Why didn't they put in Targetmasters or Powermasters or Omnibots or Action Masters?

But you've got explosions, humans and their love story, and a less coherient plot then the 80s cartoon, why would you need anything else?

i know everything doesnt make it into the big screen but it would have helped to have minicons on this game.

think of it this way you have 14 to 18 Str... and your ramming. if you know some good cofigs it can be done.
