Playing is quite simple. First you go to the registry and create a transformer, with or without selecting an alt mode (which can be selected later). You can create up to 12, but may only have 6 active "bots" at any time. You active them via the registry.
You can buy weapons (via the buy/sell weapons) and then equip them on the character screen. When you upgrade strength you may then also install armor via buy/install armor and selecting the amount and type of armor you want to install. Do not worry about Minicons or Battle Beast Gambling.
After you have your "bots" activated, you can then join missions (via missions) or send them to the arena (arena) to battle 1 v 1 or wait for an opponent. I suggest, however, to stay with missions which are usually much larger battles and can reward more exp and energon. If they are damaged or go into statis lock they will be put into the cr chamber if you have auto-repair on otherwise they will just be inactive.
Once healed you can do it all again. To upgrade your character edit them by going to their character page and click on upgrade. Once you have enough upgrades, you level up.

Good question... I haven't seen him in my missions in ages.
I guess that figures... Last mission his top guy joined was 460 hours ago... Almost three weeks ago.
Anshin, Sustain all caught up in real life issues... But at least they are always there in the missions. I wonder what Jack's excuses are

I sometimes don't even know what the exact attraction is for me personally. I guess HMW is just the equivalent of crack. It's pretty wasteful, but it's still absolutely necessary. Even on holiday, a couple of weeks back, I was cursing my iPhone for having a broken wifi / GPS antenna (replacement antenna is in the mail)...

I know part of the attraction for me is that I can just select my TFs, toss 'em in missions and then go off and watch TV or a movie, read a book or something while things happen - unlike video games and such where you have to actually, I don't know, be there for them.
Actually reminds me - true story - probably the strangest thing anyone has ever done involving HMW... the laundry room where I live is in the basement, can't hear the washer and dryer upstairs, I'd put a load in, come upstairs, toss my TFs in missions and when the missions were done I'd know it was time to go downstairs and check the clothes.

It's just become routine for me.
A friend once told me that it only takes 21 days to develop a routine.
I developed that 8 years and 11 months ago.
