How d you attack an opponent?
since to that I couldn't attack an opponent and my robot got seriously wounded, stasis lock :sad:

how do you attack?

WHOA!! only 1 pic per sig! you got way too much goin on, and its a forum rule
attacking is sheer chance to act. its all on a random number generator. Courage help raise the chance to attack, but dont worry about it till level 2-3. Speed helps dodge attacks, so does avoid.

stats cost xp. for starters I recommend picking an alt mode with avoid as its cheaper tactic. Strength lets you deal more damage (even with guns)and wear 1 ton of armor per rank of strength. Speed raises doge and accuracy, while Avoid gives yo 50 xp everytime it triggers. Firepower lets you weild better guns, but at low level the stats may be better spent. Dont worry about the other stats untill level 2-3 in my opinion. Null ray is best bang for the buck weapon.

if you want to reset a tf in the future, you get the xp back and can reconstruct a new build, but the energon spent on armor is wasted.

it'll take you a while to level up, but have fun with it, and feel free to ask more questions.

Welcome to the boards and more importantly the war.

First thing you need to do is click on CR chamber, located one link below registry on the left hand side of the page. Here you can heal your bots, its free aslong as your lvl 0.

You can edit your characters stats by opening the characters profile link (click on chars name)and click on the upgrade link on your characters profile page. However you'll need to have earned 1000xp before you can upgrade your first stat.

Heres a link to the help section.

So is there a chance of winning even though not upgrading?

Theres a small chance aslong as you stick to one on one battles in the arena. Here you'll face off against same lvl opponents who hopefully won't be much better off then you. Just keep playing and building up your xp and energon for now. Have fun.

ther HAS to be a chance to win, even without upgrades, or none of us would be anywhere

1 "trick" is join empty missions right before they start just to get the 50 xp for winning, but thats no fun.

the common tactic is join an overwhelming number to get free xp.

I goto arena all day, but that only works once you have like 10k xp to upgrade with.

it takes a while to get goin in this game. and i mean a long while, just to let you know. I'm not trying to discourage you, just sayin there is no "instant satisfaction" in this game. its taken me 9 months to get level 4s.

perservievence is the name the game. dont give up, sine (most of the time) even losing gives you xp

100XP for winning missions. 50XP is for avoiding. I think arena pays 25XP for winning. If he's a bot, missions will get him 2 upgrades the fastest.

the 1 in 1,000,000 lvl 0-3's that pop up?we'd all be old men by then. he's got brand new level 0 bots. it doesn't matter what you do pre-enough xp to do anything.

That's why I don't bother with most of the maxi missions, I figure most of the high preds don't either, so it'd be a good place to get free energon.
