The Autobot brothers are almost made out of 50% translucent plastic, which does not hold up well under years of wear. Side Burn is the most terrible example in that his ENTIRE VEHICLE SHELL is completely translucent plastic, and looking at mine almost every translucent part is either cracked, chipped, or on the verge of outright disintegrating. I don't have the train trio, but from my observation they suffer in a similar way.
The beasts suffer from most of the same problems that plagued their prior Beast Wars counterparts. Ball joint loosening and chrome chipping. Though to be fair any of the other figures in the line with chrome would chip too, but you get my point. I don't have any preds save for Megatron, so you'll have to bear that this is also more of an observation.
The worst of it comes in the form of the Spychangers and Decepticon commandos. All come with G1 poseability, which is quite a let down for a line that had so many other super poseable bots in it. Sure the spychangers were meant to be simple little guys that you could hide amid your matchbox or wotwheels cars or whatever, but it's still a bit of a let down after seeing how capable they were in the show. Ruination as well, great to have a bad guy gestalt, but it's just a redeco of G1 Bruticus. Pit that against Rail Racer or Landfill and it just looks sad.
Yeah, I once wondered a long time ago about using one of the derp twins for making X-Brawn out of but... no. I actually kinda wondered if ROFT Brawn might work better since he's a few paint aps and one letter in his name away from perfect.

Really, I'd just like tires that don't self-destruct. Maybe Magnus and Optimus could use new releases, but I'm happy with them the way they are.
HA Side Burn with Koji and HA X-Brawn with Kelly would make me very happy

Prime has a lot of chrome wear as does Magnus, but for some reason Galvatron's chrome is pristine.
I'd really like a homage line for R.I.D, but I would more so love some actual re-issues like they did with Beastwars 10th.
I know some of the molds are beyond use, but I'd love to see them re-release X-Brawn.
The Train bots are still quite easily obtainable, and very accessible in price.
Its Scourge that commands the higher prices, almost as much as the exclusive Magnus repaint.
As far as the TFCC Rodimus into Side Burn goes, I'm not sure that mold can stand another use.
I mean seriously how many times has it been released? Lets count shall we:
Classics
Henkei
Botcon Shattered Glass Rodimus
Gentei Wildrider
Sons of Cybertron
Challenge at Cybertron 3-pack
It would be the seventh use, should we be worried of mold degradation by then?

Depends from one given mold to the next, but knowing how many different releases the classics seeker and universe lambo molds have been re-used I'm fairly confident that Rodimus can hold up long enough for one more TFCC release. Though I have to say I don't feel that mold suits Side Burn much.
And yeah, the chrome on my Prime and Black Convoy are okay, though Megatron's in kinda faded. Actually most of his yellow and gold painted details are fading as well, which I only just noticed.
I am actually a little sad that I could never get the American Scourge release since it has the red translucent parts as apposed to pink, but I guess I should be grateful I have it at all.
Re-issues would be great too, but again I have to rag on the excessive use of translucent plastic. IF they do release the old molds again they need to do something about that. My Prowl's doors have broke off their ball joints and Side Burn's leg is disintegrating. Ultimately though, I doubt the brothers will ever get a re-release since their vehicle modes are all directly based on trademarked vehicles and they BARELY got away with that last time.

I agree. You can't improve Megatron, he's exactly like the cartoon. Optimus's upper arms could be made longer and thigh swivels added but other than that he's also great. Ultra Magnus could use an upgrade but if they did that then Optimus and Omega Prime would probably suffer. It's probably best left as is.

Optimus suffers from some paint issues.
X-Brawn has some hceaper paint apps and detailing missing compared to Wildrider.
Skybyte/GelShark are identical, bout the only one.
RID Scourge has the translucent pink, but Black Convoy is very cartoon accurate with the upside down G2 Autobot symbol.
And what the hell is Ruination? Hasbro made me so mad because I could never get Valdigus due to the insane price. We got a dumbed down bruticus and no upside down G2 Autobot symbols. I mean even in the cartoon they retained their correct colors and we got some off beat crap.
The shining RID toy will be Megatron, which is Devil Gigatron in Gigatron's clothing thanks to the mold switch. I never liked Devil Gigatron's colors, but the extra formations made using RID Megatron worked.
Also What can they really due re-releasing the line under Generations anyway. The new molds for CarRobots/RID had lots of play value and pose ability that I have yet to see in the Unicron trilogy or even in the Classics/Universe2.0/Generations line have to offer.
The repaint of Rodimus as Sideburn is a reverse homage because of Super Sideburn repaint. If they pick other molds to represent the RID line then I would be surprised buy the CarRobots/RID line is fine the way it is.

Hasbro is just catering to GeeWunners now, which are trying to destroy the well-being of the modern-day loyal TF fan community.

Generations. The same concept as Classics and Universe, different name. And Voyager Rhinox? Nice idea, not confirmed though.

While I would love to see some BW figs find their way into Generations (and really, why shouldn't they?) just as they did with Cheetor in Universe, I've heard that Generations is meant to be a deluxe-only scale line. So if you can settle for a deluxe-class Rhinox, then there's at least some hope he'll show up in this line. And really, considering the amazing job they've done so far with newer molds (Drift/Blurr, Cybertronian Prime, etc.) I think that they could absolutely do Rhinox justice in this scale, in this line.

Oh shut up. I just think the GeeWunners need to leave the real fans alone and stay in the 80's. And how is this sacrilege? All I want is some new renditions of some stuff we're starting to miss. This is also simply my opinion, and I love the Transfomrers dearly. I am sorry if I said anything considered sacrilegious.
