i posted this in another thread and got no feedback, i searched the forum for other threads discussing this and the search resulted in no results even though i know there are, and this being my first post ever on this sight i would like to introduce myself and ask for feedback on this introduction.

movie opens in space ala armagedeon and TF. 4 protoforms fly by the camera headed towards earth, 1 is megatron and we see some additional footage to his crash on earth ala the balrog in the two towers. We then see the other three protos crash in prehistoric montana where they scan dinosaurs and begin searching for the cube while also trying to locate megatron (optimus in traditional voice over fashion) explains that the dinobots were sent to keep an eye on megs. They have no luck finding the cube as the cube beacon has gone out until the autos come in TF. They hybernate in a cave until events a year laterthan the last movie when they are summoned by the same distress call that Op gave at the end of TF. They wake up and come to a highway at night ala TF and scan and transform into modern vehicles they see on the highway. Grimlock becomes an international cxt, slag, a custom H1, and snarl a jacked up custom suburban. I have researched and there is no feasible aircraft for swoop to become as pterandons were not as big as any existing military aircraft, and sludge would be way to big. Feedback?

It sounds good. the only thing is finding a alt form for swoop.

i think i remember someone suggesting a small military helicopter... but helicopter has been done and i don't know if it reflects swoop well enough... also you couldn't do a small cessna or some other small personal aircraft could you? I was thinking that swoop would make a cool motorcyle like the arcee we've all seen but what about arcee?

im lost as what to do with him in a vehicle form

as for sludge... maybe a crane type vehicle, but what about the constucticons and hook?

I think they should keep it true to the Cartton and have the dinobots still have dino alt modes. They can be called into action when the big end -of -the- movie style battle starts.

I was thinking that they could be criminals on cyberton and banished into the dephs of space by Megs and Prime. When drifting trough space, they crashland or find earth a sutible planet to conquer for themselves. then scan dino alt modes to help shield themselves from such high energon levels ( A good nod to BW). then when a meteor hits earth, killing the dinos, the dinobots sensors or something get scrambled from the impact of the meteor. this damages them and sends them into stasis lock.

it's hard but I want to fit in the fact Since sector 7 found the all spark, and maybe the energy from the spark could revive them, but leave thier brains fried "me grimlock"

i like that too and was thinking that at the end grimlock is like... to heck with these forms and all the dinobots transform into their dino forms!

If you'd posted that in my thread, I would definately have responded and given your idea serious attention. You have a cool idea for the intro scene, and you don't want it to be part of the community thread?

apologies mr. zarak... thought that thread was for an ongoing add on story.. since it had already begun didn't know i could throw in my suggestions so late in the game...

if there is a thread dedicated just to the dinobots being in TF2 then that would be a better thread to put this in but the search, as i previously stated, yeilded nothing.

what do you think about the cxt... i think it would be a great alt vehicle mode

It's no big deal. You should put it in that thread. It's ongoing, but it's not set in stone. You should check it out first next time. Your welcome to post whatever you like in the thread.

The only caveat is that I'm the writer and I pick what actually gets in the story, but it doesn't have to be that way. If you really want something in it, let me know and I will put it in.

I may be the writer, but I'm only putting in what people want. It's as much of a community effort as people make it. The more people get involved, the less I'm the writer and the more I'm just the guy typing it up.


And I really like the idea. It's in on the next update.

But next time, please post in the community thread. Duplicate threads like this just steal the press.
