So what did you change? I can't see what, maybe it's becose I haven't seen the normal one yet. But it must be a good job since it all looks like it's from the factory.

Agreed. Except for the G1-esque chestplate (well done on that btw, he looks better with it), please tell what else you've done.

EDIT: Just checked his gallery. I notice you've changed his hands. They are a vast improvemnt over the original. Well done.

i swapped the waist and legs w/ constructicon max., added the G1 chestplate w/ energon star, and hands w/ gun. i will also replace his head soon. i personally like his form w/o adding more G1 stuff like a concrete mixer etc...

Then excellent job. You can tell you did a good job when people can't tell teh difference between factory issue and custom.

Did you make the chestplate and hand yourself, or are they from somewhere else?

Wow only shame is thos are just 5 cons, but in G1 they wehr 6, but it's realy good I hope someone figures a way out to make a real clasics Devastator.

well, i kinda like the energon gestalt molds. i felt it a little cheesy to do 2 repaints per gestalt. but for what you get (a gestalt w/ articulation somewhat), i cannot complain too much, and besides, even if ole classics devi isnt totally accurate (6 diff bots), he's still the baddest looking gestalt out there besides predaking. even better than bruticus IMHO.

anyway, i have a box full of old g1 and g2 stuffs. i have no idea whose fist or gun that is, but i will tell you i ordered two devi chestplates from Matt at http://www.Transformerland.com.
i used the gun connectors from the g1 menasor gestalt and superglued it behind the chestplate and then a divebomb energon star on top. the round pegs on the old menasor gun conn. fit snugg and not too tight in devi's chest.

then i just used silver and black sharpies for the base color and then some red model paint for the buttons (?).
then to keep the sharpie color from rubbing off, i put a generous coat of future floor wax. i was afraid it wouldnt come out too good, but i was very pleased w/ the results.
