Every one said that Hasbro got a lot of backlash for killing all the Arkbots in the 86 movie,but then why did they still kill more bots in other cartoons?

After 86, people just got used to bots dying. Plus, they usually get brought back to life. Examples:

Every Optimus Prime EVAR!
UT Starscream, twice
UT Megatron, Twice
Energon Inferno
Armada Smokescreen
BW Dinobot

In all seriousness, the '86 movie massascre only had one purprose: to make room for more merchandise. So were the permanent deaths in Beast Wars (Trivia: originally, Terrorsaur was to survive and Waspinator was to bite the bullet permanently). It all comes down to refreshing product until Hasbro discovered Japan's magic "annual series reboot".

Another thing is that robot deaths are not the same as a human deaths, as it's been shown they're not as violent (no gore or anything), plus robots can be resurrected far more easily.

honestly the death toll in the 86 movie makes it so more interesting.I wish someone would do a directors cut comic of 86 and put all the draft and storyboard action scenes in there.

the one we got was fine but I want more dammit!!
