Why in beast wars season 1 there are onley mammels then in 2 and 3 there are dinos what gives?

er wasn't megs and dinobot in season 1, aren't both of them dinos? and scorponok was in the first season too, and he wasn't a mammal.

the majority of alt-modes in BW are not mammals. There's Primal, Cheetor, Tigatron, Rattrap and Rhinox. As has been said, Megs, Dinobot and to an extent Terrasaur are all dinos, and the rest were insects or arachnids. None of the newer characters were dinos anyway. The fuzors were not, Rampage wasn't, Depth Charge wasn't. I suppose Ravage, but he was only in a few episodes.

Because by the time, mammals were the dominant species on Earth, because the dinosaurs DIED.

You might recall the dinosaurs extinction. It was pretty big news, way back in BC64,000,000.

Agreed. Hence Dinobot, Terrosaur and Megatron scanned Dinosaur bones, not living dinosaurs.
