Since I modded the shoulders a bit I started getting a lil carried away and decided I wanted to repaint my Hot Rod figure. Since the Marvel comics run is my G1 I decided to go with that rather than cartoon accuracy (since the Masterpiece figure does that anyways). Still requires some cleaning up and such but I thought folks might like to see it and I think it makes the Titans figure a lot more solid (even when just painting the grey parts of the TitanMaster itself to match the Hot Rod face helped the whole head look a lot more unified. Same goes for the sides of the torso.



I've got the Reprolabels sticker sheets for him so I can add an outlined chest flame symbol. Will post better photos including those of car mode when it's complete.

You did an excellent-quality job. How much trouble was it to get the pins out of him to dismantle him for painting?

The paint on Firedrive looks good, makes for a nice-looking head. I'm not personally bothered by his having a gray body out of the package (since it calls back to the engine block on the back of the original Hot Rod toy's head) but I can see why it would bother people
