What exactly is a "Hero Class"? Is it just the same as the other classes like druid, warrior, and shaman? It says it's a necromancer class, and looks you'll be able to summon minions. Which is good b/c I ruled as a minion master in Guild Wars, until they totally nerfed it and I quit the damb game.

I find it funny they're introducing this new expansion just after I cancelled my account. Not that the game was horrible. But I got up to lvl 68 and got my flight form. Running dungeons, and grinding, and doing tedious quests that noone else wanted to do was getting quite boring. And with all the new hot games coming out soon, it's not worth it to pay the price to keep playing, when I could use that money to buy a whole new game, or 2.

But you know, I think this new "expansion" is just the stuff left over from the BC expansion that weren't polished enough.

Same here, my account has been canceled for over a month now, I haven't played wow in over 3 months. It's funny as hell that they announced it and everything.

But yeah, it seems to be everything that was left over that they didn't get done in time for BC.

As for a hero class. Think of it in Jedi terms. You got a Jedi Padawan, Jedi Knight, Jedi Master.

The hero class is basically a Jedi Master. As for who can be the Death Knight hero class. I would assume Pallies, since they mentioned in the trailer "following the footsteps of the lich king" who was a pally.

So you go from(if I'm right) Pally to Death Knight, then we should get other hero classes later on.

From Hunter to Ted Nugent, from Shaman to Chuck Norris(yes he can frost shock) ect.

Yeah, that sounds cool, but you will probably have to get to lvl 80 to do that. It would certainly be cool if they made a similar thing for my druid. They'll probably want full price for the expansion. You know, you gotta pay for the game and the expansions, and a high priced subscription on top of that. And what do you get? Tedius gameplay and out-dated graphics. And if they continue at the pace they're going, you'll never reach the level cap with your first character without devoting your life to it. No thanks, I'll wait.

If you go the official website it says that players have to reach a certain criteria and they unlock death knight as a playable class, who starts off as a significantly higher lvl then normal players do.

In addition, Wrath of the Lich King will introduce the death knight hero class to World of Warcraft. Once certain criteria are met, players will be able to create a new death knight character, which will start at a high level.
