Masterpiece Megatron MP-05 30th Anniversary Exclusive Rerelease is happening, however, there is a rumour about MP scaled (match to MP10) Hegemon will be also released soon by WEIJIANG

What do guys think ? wait for Takara or is an up scaled Hegemon perfect for your needs ?

I'm waiting for Takara on this one.

I 100% expect them to deliver a Megatron scaled to MP-10.

My guess is this re-release of MP-05 is shoving out old stock, much like they did with a version of MP-01 right before MP-10 dropped.

I'll wait for Takara to produce a new Megs. I have Hegemon and I like him. Takara has to do another Megs to go with the current MP trend.

Already have a MP-05 Megatron, Not interested in buying 30th re-release recolored MP Megatron.

Never cared for the Hedgemon toy. If it's upscaled to Leader scale, Might be interested. but it has to be more than a mere upscale, It needs to have some retooled parts and possible more light up lights in the toy.

As much as I want HasTak to create a MP-10 scaled new sculpt MP Megatron. Don't want HasTak to waste time and take away priority from other TF characters I want done in the Leader scale. Rather see these first, Leader scale MP Galvatron. MP Ultra scale Cyclonus, MP Ultra scale Scourge. MP Leader scale Victory Leo that combines with MP Starsabre. MP Leader scale or bigger Sixshot. Ultra scale MP Astrotrain, Ultra scale MP Blitzwing.

Same - but I kinda have this need to buy a variant. It's not high on my list (like MP-08X Grimlock), but damn this nagging compulsion. I'm not pre-ordering though, Dec/Jan is a big month for me and MP; Eva Prime, Bumblebee, and Ultra Magnus.

I agree, an upscaled version would have to make some quality retooling in order for me to want it. I don't care about lighting gimmicks as much, but it would need to have better ratchets for the arms at the very least.

I feel as if MP Galvatron and v2 Megatron would be the highest on this list. However, I think you can take some solace in knowing that MPs are being released on a more regular basis and hopefully a new Megs wouldn't necessarily push others back indefinitely.

I have Hegemon, and I like him quite a bit, although I never attempted to transform him.

I'd stil wait for an official. I encourage all 3rd parties to announce a MP NotMegatron because it would influence Takara to announce an MP Megs V2.

I'd rather have a scaled down Quakewave.

Yep waiting for Takara. Upsiziing hegemon won't make it a MP. to me at least

Put me down in the "waiting" boat. Takara's going to do Megatron. It'll happen. I like Hegemon, but I already have him.

I love how the we all did upon the MP-05 announcement became full out, unrepentant and uncorroborated certainty that Megatron 2.0 is in the works.
