Coldbug
Function: Spymaster and founder of the Univores
Coldbug was snared by Unicron from a universe where the Autobots weren't nearly as friendly, a darker universe shard, where his original name was Bumblebee, who then sought power of his own through espionage, and subterfuge, changing his name to Goldbug. Once Goldbug found out about Unicron's existence, Goldbug sought the planet eater out, and betrayed the location of his home planet Cybertron in the promise that he would receive a more powerful body. Instead, Unicron imprisoned Goldbug while he destroyed that universe's Cybertron, who's populace was caught unaware.
However, over time, Unicron did keep his word... Once Goldbug's universe died, Unicron entered another. Unicron found that in some situations, it proved beneficial to send out scouts, and spies. Goldbug was transmuted into Coldbug, and given a slightly more powerful body, with new capabilities.
Coldbug can emit holograms to disguise himself, and impersonate other Transformers, or creatures. However, this becomes less convincing when the size of who he is trying mimic greatly differs from his own. Coldbug has become a Spymaster with his own army. He recruits agents who normally do no know who his master is, but for those he finds particularly worthy, he bonds them as a Univore (beholden to Unicron.) One “gift” that Coldbug received, was a crystal that Unicron's essence can reach through. It bonds whomever glimpses it long enough to Unicron, and makes them susceptible to Coldbug's commands.
Currently, Coldbug is impersonating the Bumblebee of this Universe, and it is not known what he has done with the original.
