Grimlock gets torqued over his elite Dinobot team not being canonly sanctioned for a combiner altmode. So letting his actions speak for him Grimlock desides to systematically kick the combiner kibble out of all the Autobot's gestalt commanders.

As the former LSC leader runs through the ranks, much like Dinobot in code of a warrior, he can not repair and recharge. Also his first foe will be Hot Spot build by Wheeljack in 80s toon while his last will fittingly be Scattershot built by Grimlock in 80s toon.

How far can Grimlock go against these mechs?

Well if he makes it to Silverbolt he's golden there, Silverbolt is SUCH a weeney. Shattershot make finish him though since he can't repair between scraps.
