hey dudes

heres my latest figure repaint.

Seeing prime skyquakes are pretty rare right now I found a dreadwing at a discount store and got to repainting it.

its looking pretty strong but im just wondering if the green is too dark or a lighter shade would be better.

ANY THOUGHTS ANYONE?

It looks good, like very good. The green is fine, its just hard to pinpoint what kind of green he is on screen with pictures and stuff because it changes. Light shining on him, no light shining on him, light shining on him no light, and on and on until he eventually dies. So that green is a-okay!

many thanks for the feedback man.

a few more touch ups and he will be all finished. ive added a few decalls asw ell to dread wing just to match them up a bit more.

hey all

Here's a few more pics of my finished Skyquake on his own and along side his brother Dreadwing who has also been given a few paint tweeks as well.

Dreadwing has been given some red highlights to more closely match his in show model along with his head crest being picked out in black and gold. his tail and shoulder fins also got some dark blue added with a gold trim. with just a few mods Dreadwing is now really popping for me now.

For research I watched some clips of these two in the show and it really got me thinking that I would love to see a flashback of them together and get a better flavour of their relationship. from what I can see Skyquake strikes me as the older and more fanatical of the two while Dreadwing is younger and more idealistic. Though this isn't really the show discussion thread I figured it would be nice to put here alongside the figures.

And for the finale there is a pic of them with their fearless leader megs.
