Hello, I was watching some of the series but what I don't understand is, if the autobots are just empty shells controlled by the headmaster humans? Only the decepticons were in controlled of their own bodies? I'm so confused, what happened to the autobots?

The Pretender Autobots were robots in control of their bodys, they just gave the few humans control of the "Transectors". Chromedome made an apperance in the beginning of the series contacting Metal Hawk and the others, indicating this group(Pretenders and the Human Headmasters)was just another branch of Autobots on Earth. There were still Transformers on Cybertron, and later on(well i don't want to spoil anything for you),well let's just say, some other sentient robots show up. I hope this clears it up your question a little.

the pretenders andsome G***t robots are actual transformers, both sides have 'godmasters' and headmaster Jrs, who are all humans combining with transtectors!

Still confused very much, but yes I'm enjoying the series.

I thought it was the cast in G1 in human shells? I don't know, but it's interesting.

glas to hear that your enjoying it! the pretenders are the G1 comic pretenders, they 'pretender' process is just different! you have to listen to the commentaries to better understand whats going on!

Oh masterforce, what a crazy crazy series. As I understand it the pretenders are real TFs who just hide inside human bodies when out of battle to blend in with human society, the godmasters and headmaster Jr's are humans they have recruited, who control lifeless bodies called transtectors.
