they fought in the return of optimus prime. in the end optimus got serious and floored him with a single punch, and then reclaimed the matrix. optimus would win, he has way more experience, way more confidence, and he does have the eye of the tiger.

even if they were exactly physically equal, optimus just has the fighters instinct to get in there and get it done. i think rodimus would always be holding something back, wondering if hes using the right tactics or if hes technique is right. optimus has been in enough fights to trust himself and his abilities and wouldnt be second guessing anything. optimus all the way.

if Zombie Optimus beat Rodimus Prime then when Optimus Prime is in his Prime (non zombied state) let alone as his Powermaster state, should have little problem with beatting Rodimus Prime.

This has been done before on the message board and most agreed that Optimus would win. Optimus Prime has greater confidence and superior combat experience even if they were physically equals Optimus would still find a way to defeat Rodimus Prime.
