I have ordered way too much stuff from Play.com over last few years and on a few occasions (mostly things from the gadgets section) they didn't have things on the release date.
Works the other way too, i have recieved some things almost a month before the release date. Which is a little odd.

And their email shipping notification is really hit and miss. It's better to check your account now and again to see if the status has changed to 'shipped'.

Gaaar!

Arr, thank you felow sailer.

Still showing as awaiting stock but they've changed the listing to 20th Anniversary, taken the price off and removed it from searching play.com normally. I suspect we'll be getting "sorry we can't supply that" emails soon.

On an aside Amazon seem to be selling 20th Anniversary Prime for £29.99.

I don't get it. The picture's the DVD release isn't it? Silly talking base and dodgy orangish colours? Yet they've got the DVD release listed seperately from £64.99. I would order the blighter but I want to make sure that I pick up one of the older ones with the proper deco. Or a Masterpiece.

Sadly if I get one it'll have to be the cheaper Anniversary instead of MP. Just can't justify spending lots on a showpiece toy for me when we're about to buy a roomful of baby stuff. Softimus Prime will be a must though!

Just noticed Classics Starscream at £7.99 (amazon again) just might have to get that one...(can justify that!)

BTW. Anyone seen any of the Robot Masters Knock-offs in Poundland recently?

Hi all! :D

I was in one of my local Asda's (Dyce, Aberdeen) yesterday and they have finally started to get movie Tf's in! :D After having absolutely nothing tf wise for ages they had loads! Mostly the same that's been released elsewhere but they're the first place that I've seen with the deluxes (except Forbidden Planet).
They had Bumblebee, Jazz, Blackout  , Brawl, Scorponoc and Wreckage. All were priced at £8.97 each.

I wonder with Asda being Walmart if we'll see any of the Walmart exclusives in Britain?

I'll also need to check out Tesco now as they've been the same with nothing at all from the movie so far.

The KOs should be the shrunken ones, two a pack and better plastic. I haven't been able to check but I hear they still have them and I keep seeing Prime KO (oversize if I'm right) on ebay for 99p opening bid but £4.00 post & packing.

Sainsbuty has a BOGOF? At a fiver for a deluxe it might actually be worth picking up some movie toys after all. Plus I should be heading through to York at some stage tomorrow.

well technically its not a bogof, its a 'buy 2 for £15' deal, which is basically the same, unless you look at it as buying them for £7.50 each, then its not bogof....i dont know  there just cheap

I guess 8 pages of pirating is enough, eh?

When did deluxes appear in FP? And how much? Barricade is the last one I am (marginaly) interested in.

But of course!

We couldn't get our own private forum, so we Brits pride ourselves on the following things:

1. Our ability to moan at Hasbro.
2. Our ability to drink much rum and still be able to sit at the computer and moan about Hasbro.
3. We have one of the longest threads on the site (feel free to check. I'm not 100% sure on this, but how many other threads have over 1,000 posts?)
4. We're British. We can say words like 'jolly', 'spiffing', 'jolly spiffing' and other things along these lines, and still be real cool.
5. We drink lotsa tea. More than we drink rum.

Arrr. Be we pirates, or upper class brits? Yarr, just remember to stick out yer pinkey when downing the rum.

Has the lookout spied the bounty of deluxe Barricade in shops Argos or FP? How much must I part with fer the treasure? Or has the land lubbering scurvy Jim Lad Hasbro sank the ship be bringing em into port?

And avoid the US masterpiece Starscream in box thread. Thar be references to the movie in it. Damn dawgs need to be taught a lesson.

DM, Set yer ChibliCron on em. Teach the lecherious scoundrals what it means to upset the crew of the ODB! YARRR!

Sainsburys be a place I can not sail to. The wench of the sea sinks me ship every time. Argh, tis not good. But if they have landed on these shores, then I'll find them. It may take time, but I be a patient pirate.

Did ye not put one of those sea turtles on yer head? They get rid of mossie's. Fast buggers, them turtles. Aye, I nearly lost an arm last time I picked up a sea turtle.
