I'm going up to Grand Rapids tomorrow to look at some housing for college, should I risk 1,2, or 3 roommates? the place I'm looking at has 2,3, and 4 bedroom apartments!

It really depends on how much money you make, in comparison to how much money your roommates make. Also there's things to factor in, like bills for utilities and Internet, and how possible it is to get fired or get a raise/promotion.

And no, I'm not going to live with you. I'd like to, but I'm NOT moving to Grand Rapids.

It depends. If you really get along with more than 1 person, than go for the more people/cheaper rooms. If the opposite, than go for the 2 person.
