According to IMDB.com, There will be a episode featuring the Constructicons. This may explain the prescence of Scrapper on Transformers Animated.com.
Another piece of info to note is that Corey Burton is listed as the voice for Shockwave in the show on IMDB.
Weird Al is also mentioned as Wreck Gar! Which may confirm the long talked-of rumours!

There was no way to be sure that that was Wreck Gar in the trailer.
Its just speculation.
But now theres proof.
But uh, there was no news here of the Consructicons or Shockwave.
So, I dont know why this isn't making the headlines on this site.

Because at this point we do not have any more information about them being a part of the show than we have had for about 6 months now. Sorry. David kaye told us last year that Corey Burton would be doing Shcokwave again. Constructicons have been rumored except the game on Cartoon Network with the cards. When we see some drawings, get some more episode break downs, voice actors for Constructicons then we'll be adding it on. So keep an eye peeled!

Yes, that was Wreck Garr in the trailer. He was told to us to be a dump truck in Animated voiced by Weird Al. There he was.

In terms of season 2, the schedule indicates it starts this coming Saturday. So, we will see how well it goes with season 1. In term of your news, the only thing that is about Shockwave.
