If anyone is still looking, the Kmart out on Maple Rd/Jackson Road in Ann Arbor(west side) had 3 Tracks and 2 Jazzes yesterday afternoon. I checked that Kmart, Ypsi Kmart and Belleville Kmart... no new voyagers. Lugnut, Strafe and Grapple have been spotted at Kmarts in New Jersey.

Grabbed Jazz and Tracks at the Kohls at Ford & Sheldon. The current sale makes em $9.55, so not bad. I left them with five Tracks and ELEVEN Jazzes. Seriously.

Good news people!

Walmart on Maple in Troy had 4 Generations Blurr. Walmart is going back to regular deluxe pricing, but they had 2 still marked at $9 (the rest have the regular priced tag), and I purchased one of those. You need to look closely at the paint because they all have issues. I think the only perfect one will be a repaint by you or someone you know who does those things. They will honor the price on the box, so if you do find a marked down package make sure to tell the cashier before hand about the price tag. My Blurr is very tight, so be careful transforming him. Also, it looks like they fixed the mold issue with the chest plate so that it will stay flush with the body.

Target on Coolidge in Troy had 2 RTS Battle in Space packs. I passed after carefully examining them. As I have the original release of both I was hoping the paint issues were not as bad as I had heard. They are. One Rodimus has an obvious stress mark on the left shoulder. I'm also not happy with the look of the Matrix. As much as I would like to have one, I cannot justify this set. Nightstick looks to be the best figure in the package.

I hope these sightings help!

Hey Michiganders from my birth state! Just thought I'd share a quick story with all of you that pertains to the current need for retailers to restock right now.

The restock situation reminds of when I was a kid and one of the reasons why I disliked how soon after Christmas my January 11th birthday is. I would have all of this money from Christmas and my birthday but there'd always be an extremely limited selection. For Christmas 1986 (9 years old), I found a Cyclonus in a beat-up box at a Meijer in Flint, MI. I remember my Dad giving me a hard time about it because the box was beat up and he thought I should get one that wasn't "damaged", but I really wanted Cyclonus to go with Scourge and Galvatron who "Santa" brought me. The following year for my 11th birthday, there was only 1 Transformer at the Toys R Us in Southfield, MI ... Targetmaster Scourge. I passed him up for a set of Legos. That choice would cost me $400 20 years later when I bought a MIB Targetmaster Scourge stickers unapplied back in 2007. He was one of my last twenty US Transformers that I needed to complete my collection.

My birthday is January 13th. I share your pain of "close to Christmas" birthdays  It'll be interesting to find out what figures from the current HFTD, Generations, Reveal The Shield will be worth $400 20 years from now. Some how I don't think it'll be Sea Attack Ravage

Are any of you from around the Flint / Grand Blanc area? My grandmother passed away earlier today. She was the Linden School District school board president during the mid-80s and before that the president of the Carman-Ainsworth teacher's Union. She was also a teacher for 34 years at CA. And she was my loving Grandmother for over thirty years.

My mom wants to do a private room at a restaurant or a small banquet room for the dinner after her service. We looking for something quaint and reasonable price-wise. Does anyone have any hookups in the Flint / Grand Blanc area?

Here's to my Grandma Betty. I hope she's enjoying a cold beer and a delicious coney dog at a bar in heaven right now watching Michigan kick Ohio State's butt. I love you Grandma!

I wish I could help.

My condolences to you and your family. I am sure your Grandma is up there watching over you and your family, and I'm sure she enjoyed the game as well. All the best.

Sorry for your loss. From the sounds of it, she is going to add bright spot to the house above....I wish I could be more help. I live Grand blanc, but I am originally from the Clarkston/Waterford area and if we have an event it is always down there...If I think of something I'll let you know.

I got him in the mail today. He's awesome. I love the scythe. The face is pretty cool too. Yes, I know, this photo sucks in comparison to the ones I posted in the news feed yesterday. Just had to take a picture of mine. Can you believe the prices on the secondary market for SG Rodimus, Wildrider and the armor set? I saw an SG Rodimus go for $612.99 on Saturday!

My hat is off to you if you can paint it up to look as good as the original figure. I don't have those skills. Repainting figures well isn't as easy as many people seem to think it is.

I know. This seems to the exception since the armor covers so much of it. For $625 I'd do my best to learn :)

BTW, was out at the Sterling Heights Toys R Us(yes I know, way off my beaten path). They didn't have much new, but they had a shitload of Animated figures. I saw at least 1 animated Blurr and about 14 Rodimus Minors. One Rodimus was marked at 14.99, the rest at 16.99. I don't know if that was a mistake(all the other animated were 12.99) but I can't believe that TRU would raise the price on these again. 16.99 for a deluxe that's available at a major retail chain is too much.
