They had 1 Breacher and 3 each of Insecticon and the orange repaint of ROTF breakdown.(Crankstart?) They weren't on the pegs. They were stocking and I saw the case, already open out in the main aisle.

Hah, not even close. Well, anyway... they had 3 Oilpans

Breacher is pretty cool. He doesn't look like a movie bot at all. Has a very nice, normal headsculpt. His joints are really tight in spots. Gonna have to try to loosen it up just a little. He has a pretty intricate transformation for a scout figure.

Picked up 1 Rodimus and the only Ironhide.

Believe the hype! Rodimus is probably one of if not the absolute best Animated figures in my opinion.

I think you are overhyping it a bit. The legs KILL it for me. The alt mode is cool, the arms and torso look fine (although i would have liked the exhaust to be closer to the wrist for 'gun' purposes), but he has a very hard time standing.

In my defence I did say "in my opinion". but the legs kill it for you? the only gripe i have about the legs is that I wish it had double jointed knees. Other than that I have no problem standing or getting him into some prety good poses. I just love the look, transformation, and the character of the fig. again my opinion.

So according to one homepaged article, TF3 has begun filming here in Detroit at the Packard Plant (I must know where that is...must check it out!!). Anyone else thinking of dropping by there to see what they're up to?

I keep saying I want to, and then I never follow through. If you take any good pics, I am sure we could host them here on Seibertron and share them.

Sounds like you might have to organize a field trip, Pam.

I found a Breacher at Livonia TRU today. It was the only one they had. They also had one each Insecticon and Oil Pan. Nothing else of note.

Breacher is a nifty little guy. Nice in both modes and he's a bit more complicated than I was expecting. He doesn't really "combine" with Sea Spray so much as just fit in his alt mode's back area just right. There's also mention of them teaming up on the back of his package along with an oddly mirrored picture of Breacher's alt mode. If you're just thinking about picking him up for the combining-with-Sea-Spray feature, you might want to reconsider. Otherwise, I would recommend him.

I think anyone should pick up Breacher in spite of this 'combination'. More like team up.

Anyway, Breacher is excellent. Much more like a CLASSICS type figure than a movie-verse figure, he is quite excellent! Oil Pan is good too, and should fit in with anyone's retro G2 CLASSICS sets.

I am actually an extra in the movie! Was just down there today for wardrobe fitting. Filming takes places Sept 1 - 17. I saw TONS of NEST uniforms while I was there. Very cool!

Sounds like fun for the weekend.

For Joe collectors out there: I found Jungle Viper x 2, Dusty (yes, I am sure this time), Recondo, and Zartan.

I left Arctic Destro, a Zartan, and a Duke.

Awesome! I'm kinda glad I wasn't called to be an extra since I'd have to turn them down since I started my new permanent job Monday. Thanks for the film date info!

I got the new iPhone 4 today. It's awesome. I was messing with the video camera and took a video of my Toy Room. It's not the greatest video. I didn't realize how much the lights in the room would wash things out. And I haven't used iMovie in 5 years. It's changed

anyways, here's the video.

I'm free Saturday if you'd like to go exploring. I'm totally comfortable most places downtown.

I've decided that I like Breacher enough to feature him in my new signature picture. I just love that little halfway mode.
