This is kinda bugging me. I don't know why I care when I don't even watch the Japanise series due to language issues and not likeing fan dubs but what's up with Leo Convoy and Lio Jr.?

They both Transform into lions and they're both Optimus Prime look alikes. Are they the same character? Or sence his name is Jr. is Leo Convoy literally the father of Lio Jr.?

Yeah, the whole "Junior" thing is this wacky thing the Japanese came up with. It's similar to Sixshot being a ninja in Headmasters when he's just a one man army over here.

Lioconvoy is a "Convoy" (a "Prime"/"Primal") after all, so it only follows that he'd look like Prime, just like Optimus Primal did.
Lio Jr. was kind of "cloned" from Lioconvoy when he was exposed to the Angolmoa (spelling?) energy that they were fighting over on that planet.
What I want to know is where Junior got the ability to combine with those other bots to form Magnaboss.
