My Junkions have faced off against some of halo's cons... I think.

Speaking of your Junkions, WreckJack is fighting alongside my "Rookie" and fembot Steelia.

Kewl beans. all my bots are level one by choice. tricked out and upgraded to one point shy of level 2. I'll keep doing this until they can reach level 3

That's what I did for a while, but then I got enough to be a bunch of mid/low-level Lvl.2s.

And a couple of Lvl.1s

I have a 7 Lvl. 3s, and 5 Lvl. 2s.

Oh..I can't figure out how to buy stuff...I can't find the store...help.

There's a button marked "Buy/Sell Weapons" on the menu bar at the side. There's also "Buy/Install Armor" just below it.
