Robert Roode isn't ripping anyone off, he's just an "old school style heel"

And Black Machismo was an idea from Nash.

Jay Lethal does a perfect impersonation of Savage.

Savage even likes the idea

ok thats one opinion mine is he's trying to be a new age rick rude,

hell even the name touches a little to close for my liking

robert roode

hmmm

lets take two of ricks names (rude and rood) and merge them

plus his apperance has to have been modeled on rick's.

sorry if this seems like a rant im not shouting at anyone just voicing my opinion.

also id like to add i dont like how tna seems to verbally try to undermine the wwe with its broadcasters, seems like there spending to much time trying to do this.

of course i know wwe did it with wcw, liked it then as a youngster, but now it seems a bit petty.

WcW always tried to knock wwe, especially the good ole, Mankind is going to win the title reveal back when Raw was taped. Tna started trying to be different from everyone with the 6 sided ring and the mre wrestling focused broadcasts. Thats what got them to the semi big leagues. Now that they have the fans they are doing the exact same thing that people claim wwe did that drove fans away. Especially with Vince russo, Jarrett, Nash and a lot of the old wcw'ers behind the scenes filling jarretts head with nonsense about what worked then and why we should do it again. Hell thay are planning on trying to redo N.w.O. for the fifteenth freaking time.

That's Robert Roode's real name

And how can TNA do a nWo story when WWE owns the name?

I don't think Hall and Nash teaming up is really a nWo story, even if X-Pac does join them.

TNA does do some pretty stupid things, but overall I am more entertained by TNA then WWE.

TNA PPVs always make me feel like I got my money worth, WWE...not so much.

Whether its called N.w.O. or not doesnt really matter, the fact that they are still retreading that idea five years after it fell flat on its face the first time hints at the creativity that tna booking has.

I really really hate to say it but Jarretts wifes health problems and susequent death may have been one of the better things for tna itself. Its kept jarrett off of t.v. for months now and frankly thats a good thing.

Pac-man is not contractually allowed to wrestle due to his contract with the Titans. He was signed to a tna deal before they found this out and they tried to get something worked out to where he could wreslte, but the titans said he's not allowed to do anything that could get him hurt.

Official Statement from Booker himself...

We want to begin by thanking the many wonderful WWE fans that we have had the privilege of entertaining over the last eight years. Sharmell and I have enjoyed the opportunity to put smiles on your faces night after night. We also want to thank everyone in the wrestling community for their support of our very own P.W.A. (Pro Wrestling Alliance). The dream of bringing professional wrestling back to my home town of Houston, Texas is coming to fruition, and we have you to thank for it.

I want to address something that has been on my mind for quite some time now in regards to my recent suspension from WWE. I want to state for the record that I was not taking any illegal substance, or anything outside of my physician's care, and that the suspension was unwarranted. However, rather than fight the suspension or publicly voice my discontent, I used this recent hiatus to rest, work with the P.W.A., and reflect on the direction of my career as a professional wrestler. I also, for the record, have never at any time ordered anything from "Signature Pharmacy". This allegation is upsetting, and the careless and slanderous reporting of this matter is currently being addressed by my legal counsel.

I would like to also address any possible rumors or misinformation regarding our release from WWE. I had been unhappy for quite some time with the direction that the Company was going in. In fact, I asked for my release back in July for that very reason. However, after further contemplation, I decided to continue on with WWE because of my passion for this industry and my desire to entertain the fans. Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent that my unhappiness with my work environment was beginning to take a great toll on other aspects of my life. I knew that it was time to make some extremely tough decisions. Therefore, in the interest of my mental, physical, and spiritual well being, I along with my wife, asked for our release from World Wrestling Entertainment for the second time within months. We were graciously granted our release and we have since amicably parted ways. While the business relationship between ourselves and the WWE has ended, we will continue to be involved in Professional Wrestling. We hope that our loyal fans will follow us as we make this transition.

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, and we will see you soon!

Booker T. and Sharmell

Do you watch TNA at all?

One or two matches have WWE/WCW guys, the rest are TNA/new guys.

Its ridiculous how everyone bitches about TNA having former WWE guys.

If a guy gets fired from one company, obviously he's either going to retire or go to a different company.

It makes sense.

If AJ Styles, Elix Skipper, Low Ki, Abyss, or Christopher Daniels went to WWE they wouldn't be used period or they'd be buried all the way to hell.

Admittedly I dont watch all of the time, but I do keep up with the news about it, and what I mean about showcasing new talent is that the wcw, wwe, and ex ecw guys are the ones that get the major pushes. Aj is christians redneck lackey, Chris Daniels was going to be a sting knockoff until they killed that angle. I see abyss as a kane/mankind takeoff. The last original idea tna had was the six sided ring.

p.s. Lets not forget the good old electrified cage match.

WCW had electric cage matches in the 80s and early 90s.

Daniels wasn't going to be a Sting knock off, he was going to feud with Sting.

Everyone still likes AJ. He's hilarious and makes it work.

Plus, he's just amazing in the ring.

and is every big man/dark character/demented wrestler going to get compared to Kane or Mankind?

Daniels was going to feud with sting but his gimmick was going to be a knockoff of stings(i remember a fight with the black bat or something) but then Daniels was put back into triple x or whatever it is. Not every big man is compared to kane or mankind, but when you have people like james mitchell being a variation of paul bearer theres bound to be comparisons.

My point is that Tna was supposed to be the federation that the "boys" that didnt get their shot in wwe could go to, but with every wwe release those guys get featured less and less. What happens when sabu decides to return and rvd decides hes done smoking weed and wants to wrestle. And wait till jarett comes back on screen and wins the belt in his first match back.
