TMNT vs Mario

OK it's on in a battle to the death who would win
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the original Mirage comics version)
Or
Mario as in Super Mario
Let the battle begin!
Also no outside forces or help, only their standard weaponry and skills.

Motto: "May God have mercy on my enemies, because I sure as hell won't."

It depends on whether or not the invincibility Star counts as "Standard weaponry." But since I'm guessing not, I have to give this one over to the Turtles. Mario can break bricks by headbutting them, but this are the original, much grittier TMNT.
