Didn't do much at all on this one, just a black wash to both robot and beast head, and the various glyphs to bring out the details. Might do something else to it eventually, but it's already gorgeous as it is..

Very nice job!

I noticed that you switched the chest plates around and folded them inwards at the top... I'm guessing that works to hold the head assembly in place? Clever touch, will likely do this with my Darksteel right away.

EDIT: And done. Wow, that works quite well at holding the beast mode head in place. Quick, easy, and elegant solution! Thanks! Not sure how it will look in beast mode, but as it's on the underside I don't care too much.

Oh yeah, looks great. Just couldn't see it from the angle on the beast mode pics in your post, but since transforming Darksteel after making the switch I can confirm that it looks absolutely fine. The two pieces don't touch to cover up the hole underneath quite as well but they didn't do a great job in the first place. Highly recommend making this switch if you have either Ursagryph figure.

Thank you for making me like a figure even more that was already pretty high on my list!

I agree, it's a gorgeous mold. And even the ridiculously simple transformation does not take away from the figure at all. Really chuffed about this one.
