I figured Blustreak would never happen, so I decided to take matters into my own hands.
The hilarious things is, the day I went out to buy a Smokescreen to use, I came home to the news on here about the leak of the Club's Bluestreak. Oh well. I went for it anyway.






Bluestreak is my all time favorite Autobot. I decided BLUEstreak because I love the look of the old Diaclone, the MP is the best, and there just aren't enough of him.
He's mostly sprayed with Rustoleum spray paint, with a bit of brush work to finish him off.
This is my first attempt at a complete disassembly. All in all it went well. A few nicks and scratches during re-assembly, but I learned a ton. Definitely looking forward to another go at this kind of custom.

Damn, that looks superb! If I may, though, I'd suggest giving him a new gun if only for the sake of variety. Fakebusker on Shapeways makes some awesome versions of the WFC guns.

Thanks guys! I still have a lot to learn, but I'm pretty pleased with the results so far. Even for just using spray paint.

Delta Mags - You may! I do think the shot gun is a cool cop gun, but it's not right for Streak. Or Smokey for that matter. I'd love a more G1 style gun for those guys, and I'm sure somebody on shape ways is making one. Just haven't takin the time to look.
You've reminded me though of a thought I had a while back. the heli-mold blaster looks a enough like the OG Datsun blaster. I need to steal Vortex's and slap it in his hand.

Your CW Bluestreak is darn sweet! I had a friend repaint a CW Smokescreen into a CW Silverstreak; mainly cos I love the idea if Silverstreak and also because I can't paint at all. I don't have many pictures cos it's not finished. Streak still needs faction symbols and some touching up, but so far I love it.
