Protector was a great upgrade set for Classics Hot Rod, but I always felt he was too small to be the leader of the Autobots, and a leader has to be taller than his troops and tower like a commander should.

SO, I used some parts from another set to make him taller and a bit more leader-like!

The parts I used were from Maketoys Battle Tanker:

I gave Rodimus new feet AND hands- I think they look rather good!

I had to super glue the feet into place, as they fit pretty snuggly at first, but with a little shake these new boots fall off pretty easily- so I super glued them on.

This means that Protector is no-longer transformable, so ONLY do this if you're willing to buy another Protector set for vehicle mode.
