TFTH Prime gun vs. energy axe

ok why does the toy have a gun if he doesnt use one throughout the whole movie..... who thinks they should have made him have a energy axe instead????

He did use his gun. When Megatron first charged up his gun as Prime was running towards him he pulled the gun from his back and blasted Megatron one time.

It would have been awesome for him to have his machete included with his toy.

honesty i wondered the same thing about the gun.. happened so fast i honestly didn't recall seeing the gun itself as just the blast from it.
hasbro will at some point i'm sure give the energy blade but will probably be sometime down the road.. they want to make sure you've already bought at least one prime before they release one you'd want more..
