Megatron was right, the Autobots were no longer a threat...till Starscream blasted the mountain and woke 'em up

Nice to see that Megatron possibly has a rivalry kinship with Prime, much like Armada Megatron(I noticed the similarity too). Yet by the movie they were at each others throats. Wonder what crucial event changed the relationship? Might make a cool Mosaic.

Hmm, this piece has more depth than I originally thought. Nice, got me thinkin' ;)^

I don't think anything changed between this and the Movie. Here, Megatron wouldn't have the satisfaction of defeating Prime and Prime knowing about it. In the Movie, it's a one on one struggle to the death. If Megatron won, he'd not only have the satisfatcion of a Decepticon victory, but of Optimus Prime knowing he had lost. I'd say that is more evil than killing Prime on the Ark would have been.

Sure he could take him out on the spot, but where's the fun in that? Plus Optimus would never know what happened or who killed him. After all, isn't it MUCH more satisfying when the victim knows EXACTLY what's coming and who's doing it?

I like it. Megatron IS a bad guy but he is also a show off and a megalomaniac, as well as genuinely believing his way is the right way!

He would look weak if he blasted an unconscious Optimus Prime. Jeez, imagine what Starscream would have to say about that . . . . . . lol

The fact that he lies to his troops and says there is no threat when he clearly doesn't believe OP to be dead shows just how cunning and decietful he really is.

He ain't gonna take on Prime until he has an audience - to cheer AND to boo!
