This is something I've been working on for the past few months off and on. Basically what would be a Classics version of Punch/Counterpunch. Tried to keep some aspects of the original toy in this one such as 'top of car=Counterpunch, underside of car=Punch). Borrowed some elements from Energon Hot Shot, Classics Starscream & Bumblebee. For the vehicle mode, I made it as a performance coupe with elements of Cadillac SLR, Infiniti G35, and a touch of Mercedes thrown in. Hopefully the transformation is easy to figure out, but I can explain it if noone can figure it out. Comments and crits appreciated.

How does the head change?

Would it be more of a faux headmaster or does he have some sort of compartment to hide the other head in?

i think one is under the chest and one is under the bonet, im a bit lost on the arms but it is a REALY nice design

I believe I've pretty much figured out exactly how it transforms.

Punch: Counterpunch's arms make the interior of the car, which means they fold up into his back. (You can see the seat on the side of CP's arm.) I believe the head folds down into the same area, and the arms cover it up.

Counterpunch: Punch's head and arms are both attached to the panel his head is on. The arms fold up to make the front half of the car, and then the entire section folds down to make CP's back. You can clearly see all of the joints for it around Punch's head and shoulders.

Also, that is the best P/CP ever.

I just don't understand HOW the 'Cons arms fit inside the seating area. they look too big. unless the forearms full up the top half of the car's seating area and there's no room for the seats to unfold.

I imagine it'd be feasible for the lower arms to retract toward the shoulders, which should make them short enough to fit in the driver's area. Aside from that, there may be a touch of artistic licence as regards proportioning, but I don't think it's a lot.

So... who's scratchbuilding this one..? :wink:
