I agree, Primus does have a lot more firepower.

You're right there. But I just wondered if anyone thought Megatron would be powerful enough.

If Megatron somehow manages to kill Primus, it's suicide for him and all Transformers. It makes no sense.

Primus can kill Megatron anytime by removing his spark essence.

Primus must value Megatron a great deal, though. Why else would he allow Megatron to be created and live such a long, eventful life? Megatron is one of Primus' many key tools.
