Now I know its been discussed but I just have a simple question. We know Autobot eyes are blue and cons are red.

So when the bot(Ironhide) is getting out of the pool why are his eyes red?

Too much chorine maybe.

Feel free to lock it if you wish I was just curious about that and I hadn't seen the questioned raised or answered if it was.

And why was he wriggling naked out of the pool like some newborn robotic skeleton?

Good thing the little girl was so innocent she didn't just faint dead away!

I think they corrected that since that trailer came out. I am not sure though.

Uhm... Soundwave always looked better with yellow eyes. Prime looked good with red, yellow, as well as blue in the comics.


They can have whatever colour eyes they damn well like. I think it's childish to be able to tell if a character is good or not by the colour of their eyes.

And it also implies that Punch/Counterpunch would have to wear contact lenses.

I'm just going off of the premise of red=bad and blue= good that they have tf's have generally set for themselves.

i did not know that was ironhide coming out the pool. i though it was jazz at first.

Simple: Things are often specifically editted for trailers.

Without any context, the bot coming out of the pool and hulking over this frail human girl is 'unsettling' at best. For the trailer, there's a bigger dramatic affect if Ironhide is portrayed as being evil 'ZOMG! HE'S GOING TO KILL THE LITTLE GIRL!' so they edited his eyes to be red in the trailer version.

Chances are they'll be blue in the proper movie.

The eye color of Transformers stopped being based alliegance just after G1.

Like How Optimus Primal had red eyes (Now that I think about it, most guys in Beast Wars has red eyes), and AU Primes commonly have yellow.

i did not know that was ironhide coming out the pool. i though it was jazz at first.

they just want a 1st immpression that an alien robot is evil which most of us would probebly assume.

Original trailer Eyes = red

new image eyes = blue

I went to see Disturbia last night and they showed the teaser trailer and Ironhide had red eyes. Just an observation.
