God Magnus wrote:Detroit Fanfare was...okay. C+ I'd say. It was about the same as Motor City Con with about half the people. I'm hoping they did well enough to do it again just to see if they can build off of this one but I overheard several different dealers lamenting the horrifically dismal and disappointing turnout. I still wonder why we can't have a decent convention with major publisher support in Detroit. Is it DC and Marvel ignoring us out here or does the fault lie with the convention promoters?
ChZuck wrote:i ha a great time yesterday at fanfare. the q and a panels were fun i finished my classics series by finding a voyager inferno at the vader's attic booth and met plenty of costume folks! im hoping the turnout doesnt seem as bad as it was though. i enjoyed the size of the novi con without the shoulder to shoulder floor experience.

God Magnus wrote:Finally found a Generations Warpath today! I got him at Livonia TRU this afternoon and left them with one more along with two each of Thundercracker and Wheeljack. They also had the War For Cybertron 3-pack. Not a horrible bunch of repaints, but at $39.99 I shall pass. I might grab it if it goes on clearance at some point. Fat chance considering it's TRU.

Glad that you finally found one though.
autobot joe wrote:Just picked up a Wheeljack at Hall/ 94 Walmart. Pretty sweet figure just wish they had made him stand a little taller. I left 4 behind along with 3 or 4 Warpaths, Thundercrackers, a Scourge or 2, and a couple of Sergeant Kups. That Walmart is pretty well stocked right now actually. I wish I could have picked up one of the Warpaths too but the wife put her foot down. All I ask is if any of you guys head over there, just save me one. The weekend is coming and I may head back. lol Thanks
