I just got my Studio Series 38 Optimus Prime. He's beautiful, but transforming him has been a nightmare. (Flashbacks to the '09 Leader, huh? :BANG_HEAD:

) I have not been able to get the halves of the grill to fit onto him worth a damn. I thought it would be a simple matter of sanding down the pegs with a nail file, but I must have spent an hour filing away at half a dozen things, and it still. Won't. Fit. I feel like I'm going insane. Has anyone figured out some other fix for the grill? I'll get another if I have to.

Mine popped into place without a problem. Did you make sure you had all the other panels properly folded out? The grille is the last piece to be secured, everything else has to be in its place first. Maybe you just got a bad figure?

The grill works on mine by the middle square piece is misaligned.

Hey DUDE!

I had issues with mine and simply got another one to see if it would have similar issues. It does not, which means that sadly this toy, due to its intricacy and higher parts count, will be all over the place in terms of things fitting properly from one to the next. So dont waste your time, if you think something is off its because you got a dud. Exchange it for your money back or the same item.
