Excellion makes a not too bad Hot Rod (it's better if you can get the yellow plastic wings of Hotshot and swap them with Excellion) though, obviously Rodimus is already there.

I like Armada Thrust as a decent nod to the coneheads.

Then there's, of course Unicron (Though I need to repaint him at some time) and Swoop and Grimlock.

I like Alpha Quintesson until I can actually get some Quintessons.

I think Energon Insecticon fits.

Energon Scorponok is not a completely horrible substitute for the Headmaster (and a heck of a lot cheaper!!)

Contrary to some, I like Blurr as a nice homage to G1 and I think he fits nicely with the classics.

Energon Shockblast is a near perfect homage to G1 Shockwave, but that's kind of a given. Even has the cycloptic head. and has a decent enough Fan made Gun Mode.

Classics... nuff' said

Energon Omega Supreme kind of

Armada Overload/Energon Ultra Magnus kinda...

Thanks, I have the Classics, Unicron and Alpha Quintesson. I'll have to look into the others. I'm gonna have to spend some time browsing through Ryan's galleries. :grin:

Also, if I may recommend Bulkhead (Springer), E-Cliffjumper(Sandstorm), Sharkticon ( was originally ment to be the Nemesis ), Inferno/Roadblock, E-WingSaber is a dead ringer for Star Saber, The combiners, and the list goes on.

On at least three occasions, I put Wheelja- er, Downshift in my shopping cart then put him back because I realized I didn't had a lot of money. Not only is Wheeljack one of my favorite TFs, he's also a muscle car, and there just aren't enough of those (in fact, he and movie Bumblebee are the only two I can think of). I've done the same thing Cyb Smokescreen, too.

I've pretty much limited myself to G1 Reissues, Masterpeice and Classics, because if I collected anything else, I wouldn't have enough cash to stay afloat. Besides, my apartment is already completely crowded with Transformers, Legos and Stormtroopers, so only one of four roommates is ever going to get laid, mostly because he has a REALLY tolerant GF...
